Germany will increase its contribution to the NATO budget by €33 million ($36 million) to match what the US contributes, officials have announced.OMG you been pitching a bitch about NATO over 36 million a year?
For an American you sound a bit too much concerned about German pride. Not even most of the Germans are so proud about Germany.
And by the way I have German roots and even lived in Germany.
Oh. Is that so?
I have a problem with pride, but unlike you I have no problem admitting where I am in the world.
So what is YOUR pride ashamed of?
Ummm, no. Im not contradicting myself and Im laughing at your ignorant claims that just because Im disgusted with Germans political attitudes today that must mean Im a German hater. My family IS German.
Who said Germany must support Eastern Europe by importing energy from Russia in the way I see fit? Germany is in an alliance the principle threat to which is widely seen as Russia. How about Germany simply not make itself ever more dependent on Russia, fill Russian coffers with money and support a plan that gives Russia more political leverage by cutting out Germanys NATO and EU partners? Astonishing that Germans would think that some kind of imposition on them.
Germany is acting very selfishly and completely ignoring their supposed partners needs and concerns even as they are not shy about asking other countries to support them. Thats incredibly hypocritical. The Germans are the only ones who cant seem to see that.
Your arguments are stupid, myopic and massively ignorant. Do try to keep up.
Try reading the article I posted above. Everybody in NATO promised to spend at least 2% of gdp on defense. The Germans plan to finally spend 1.5% in 2024.......then backslide some more after that. Pathetic.
Why should America or anybody else support a country that does not carry its weight and does not keep its promises to do even the bare minimum?
THESE are the people who accuse others of being greedy? LOL! Scheiss Heuchleren.

“...Merkel declares war on Trump...”
Comrade-ess Merkel ought to be careful with the “declaring war” stuff.
The last time the OTHER Socialist Kraut assh*le “declared war” on us, it didn’t end too well for them. And HIS mustache looked much, much better than Frau Merkel’....
When communists nations realize their economic system is going nowhere, unwilling to relinquish totalitarianism, they become corrupt fascists. Look at China or Russia.
Amen, buddy!!!
Still chuckle when I hear the old joke about the American airline pilot and the German air traffic controller, who was giving him a bunch of crap on the approach before landing in Berlin...
The American pilot finally had enough and said “The last couple of times I flew to Berlin, it was in a B17, so yeah, I’m real familiar with your city...”
:^)
YESSSSSSSSSSSSSS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Put some ice on that!
“Oh. You got triggered and thought being twisted about a literal translation would make things good for you.
Anyone posting that Merkel is declaring War on Trump is clown”
Triggered? what a douche-
Sorry, you miss the mark again.
The Commie Wh-re running Germany into the Ground is mis-quoted. Flipping to a sub of Krieg is just silliness.
The ENGLISH(American) usage of “declaring war” is understood.
Your English(American) is less so.
That’s OK, you probably haven’t recovered from Oktoberfest yet.
Merry Christmas and best wishes for a healthy & prosperous new year.
"If women ran the world there'd be no wars."
"[Drew Carey pretends to be on the phone] We're at war! Why? Oh, I think you know why."
"But every 28 days there would be real heavy negotiating" - Robin Williams
So Ill point out again that the use of war in English is incorrect... “clear declaration of war”,
Especially Merkel never used the word war. She said fight which in the context means disagreement and the article says Merkel wants to have meetings about the issue. So much for a “clear declaration of war”... its a disagreement so lets have meetings - LoL!
Your idiocy about Merkel being a whore (sorry I cant help you with your serious mommy issues) and me with Oktoberfest (I dont drink alcohol) show a rabid strain of anti-German Britishness. Most likely “Macoozie is a British Boozie. You picked that name waking up in the London gutter one morning while being peed on?
Can you possibly have a normal person formulate a half decent response for you, instead of being triggered and spamming me with the same drooling rabid stupidity?
Exactly, France and Germany keep floating the idea of an EU army. The Pacific is an area of more strategic interest than central Europe. You need an economy to have a military. Germany has decided to fund the Russian military with gas purchases. Of course with Merkel’s childhood influenced by living in the German Democratic Republic, she probably has a fondness for seeing Russian armies on German soil. With Turkey turned into a fundamentalist dictatorship, and Russian having an economy to rival Italy’s, It’s past time to reexamine NATO. But Germany, France, and Turkey, the major military powers other than the US in NATO no longer are Allies in the classical sense.
Meh!
As I once said, if one of the wimmin leaders said to another that her shoes didn’t match her purse or her butt looked too big in her pantsuit, they’d launch a nuke strike by breakfast the next morning.
I second the motion. Move to Czechoslovakia, or Poland. They would welcome us with open arms.
how right your analysis turned out to be.
Lots of articles like this to be found in the archives.
Quite illuminating to how we got the current state of affairs.
