Airport officials say around 7:30 a.m. a 17-year-old girl breached the fence of the airport and then entered a King Air 200 propeller driven aircraft and started the engine.
After starting the engine the aircraft began to move and pivot and eventually crashed into a building and fence, airport officials said in a release.
Once officers arrived on scene they located the female sitting in the pilot’s seat and wearing the pilot headset. Officials say she appeared to be disoriented and was uncooperative when being taken into custody.

Early 2000s or so, I was listening to DW on SW one Sunday.
A young adult stole a g/a plane, and flew around Germany’s Frankfurt airport, Europe’s busiest, for a while, effectively shutting it down.
He landed safely and was taken into custody without incident.

Actually, not so much. She only got one engine started which lead to the crash.
She wanted two wings, because Men are showing up to The Wing and women are pissed.
The classic of all time was the kid who flew from Germany to Moscow in a Cessna 172, did not get picked up on Soviet radar, and landed in Red Square.
She must have had some know how to get everything right for it to light up and run. She just shouldn’t have released the brakes until she got the right engine going. Maybe she tried starting #2 but couldn’t get it fire. But then if she had no rudder pedal experience (real or sim), then that might explain the plane doing a 180, and the fence doing the stopping.
The left prop looks messed up. Engine and mounts damaged. Wing outboard of the engine is torn off ( the bushes probably got doused real good with jet A).
Well there goes her college loans. I wonder what that bill will be? I’ll bet six figures easy. “Umm, dad? Can I have my allowance early? Huh?”
