What the article does not mention, but the research found, is that older mice that received this therapy outperformed younger mice in running mazes.

A researcher said it would be comparable to a 100-year-old human becoming a competitor in the Olympics.

I think they’re onto something. The techniques they used did not result in cancer and restored the youthfulness and vitality of older mice.

Unfortunately, people (especially liberals) seem to have a knack for taking great breakthroughs in science and technology and finding a way to use them for evil.

My guess is that the extremely wealthy and powerful will use this tech to lengthen their own lives but only allow the masses to have access under the condition that we enter a Faustian pact.

I’ve read this before somewhere... But you are right and it seems like that is exactly where this type of technology is headed. As it is right now, it’s almost impossible to escape the surveillance state if you don’t agree to that future Faustian pact.
