Two-time loser.... I’m surprised that he’s smart enough not to become a three-time loser.

As per your title, Beta is not running, but what about Beto?

“Not to mention he doesn’t stand a snowball’s chance in Terlingua of winning ANYTHING in Texas”

Uhhhh he could win something if the name Austin is attached to it. Plenty of like minded D-bags

There's been a "sky is falling" contingent on FR ever since Francis ran a close race against Ted Cruz. I something similar to this then, and am repeating it today.

We shouldn't ever take the threat of democrats lightly. They are evil, and if they ever get in office, they'll use fraud to stay in office. However, O'Rourke coming close to beating Cruz was an anomaly that can't be repeated.

First of all, nobody knew who O'Rourke was when he ran the first time. Es Paso is across about 600 miles of desert from the rest of the state. He ran on a totally fact free platform. His campaign was pickup trucks, Willie Nelson and Whataburger. As a side note on Willie Nelson, he's a left wing sleazeball, grew up about a half hour from where I live. He's a con artist, but all the good ole boys love Willie. He did concerts for Froncis. O'Rourke got a pickup and drove around the state. He based his sign on the Whataburger ketchup packet.

He spent more money than any other candidate in Senate history, nearly twice as much as Cruz. Despite his claims of "grassroots support," almost all his money came from California and New York.

You know how you usually have to buy yard signs for a candidate? Democrats went to the homes of all registered democrats and asked if they could put up Beto yard signs (no charge) and did this months before the election.

Cruz has never been extremely popular in Texas, and was badly damaged in his campaign against Trump. That's why the rats thought they could get an unknown in by taking some mouth breather and creating a campaign around his photo.

A more typical election was Greg Abbott's re-election to governor, where he won over the Democrat 56% to 43%, over a million votes.

About 57% of the Californians coming to Texas are voting Republican, but the Democrats that are coming are of the particularly vile California Nazi type.

The Green Pages list 13 people running for the Democratic nomination. One has raised $2 million and spent $1.2 million. Four others have raised over $100,000.

None of them appear to have statewide recognition.

Primary is March 3, 2020.

His political days were over after the gun grab drivel. He couldn’t be elected dog catcher in Texas. Besides, he’s an idiot.

I'm sure it had nothing to do with the fact that the strongest reaction to him was disgust, and the only mildly positive one was indifference. He didn't decide, voters did.

Is it Beta or Beto? If you’re going to call Robert Francis by a fake name, pick one and stick to it.

What’s so great about Whataburger? I remember my family stopped for lunch at one in Gainesville, FL in 1970. It was terrible, and we never went back again.
