A 13-year-old boy has been arrested after confessing in the stabbing murder of Barnard College freshman Tessa Majors in Morningside Park, a high-ranking source confirmed to The Post on Friday.
The teen had a knife on him when he was picked up Thursday night in the lobby of a building close to the park, the source said. He was taken to the precinct on trespassing and weapons charges — and then confessed to the murder, telling investigators that he and two friends tried to rob Majors, 18, before stabbing her, the source added.

By getting “political” do you mean that maybe the Mayor will give him a medal for resisting White Privilege?
I mean, clearly this is only a big deal because she was a rich white kid. Had she been a poor minority female, we would not be seeing this case in the news. If they were both rich white kids, say at a college in Minnesota, we would not likely seeing it, either.
If you believe in fighting White Privilege and White Supremacy like the Mayor does, don’t you have to give this kid a break, if not a medal?
Don’t send her to a hell hole Ivy League in a ghetto.

As she lay dying I wonder if she was cursing her killers or blaming whitey for her plight.

The NYS criminal justice system can be a sick joke at times.
The kid is a minor so he’ll basically get away with it. Won’t be tried as an adult, etc. He’ll be a guest of the state at some gladiator academy though for an indeterminate period.
Whatever he pleas to will dictate where this all ends up. Then you have the mitigating circumstances, only had one mother and father, turns state on his accomplices, gets Alvin Sharpton for a lawyer, etc.
He’ll get 3-4 years of free psychiatric care while incarcerated in a cushy dorm room. A dopey college degree paid for by the taxpayers, then a career in academia, telling the yutes of tomorrow about the horrors of white privilege and what it made him do.
