Jets players lined up to get signed jerseys from Lamar Jackson after he threw five TDs vs. them

It didn’t take long for Lamar Jackson to change the NFL, and get the respect of his fellow players.

There have been plenty of moments this season that have belonged to the Baltimore Ravens quarterback, whether it was the crazy spin move against the Cincinnati Bengals or the “Monday Night Football” five-touchdown party against the Los Angeles Rams that practically ended the MVP race.

Thursday night brought another of those moments, and it wasn’t necessarily the five touchdown passes he dropped on the New York Jets in a 42-21 win that clinched an AFC North title. It came afterwards, when some of those Jets players who just got blown out lined up to swap jerseys with Jackson.

Jackson had to bring extra jerseys for them.

I would guess J-E-T-S QB Sam Darnold walked back to the locker room unmolested.

New Tom Brady until he gets beat up and/or blows up a knee with him running the ball so many times.

The duo of Ingram and Jackson will go far PR wise. People love Ingram being the spokesman for Jackson. Ingram will probably end up as an announcer down the road

I remember they were hailing Robert Griffin III as the new Brady a few years back, until it was obvious Griffin couldn’t take a hit below the waist without breaking something. Ironically, RG Me is in Ballmer carrying Jackson’s clipboard now. He’s gonna end up getting a Super Bowl ring because he’s got spindle legs. Should we all have that luck.

While I compassion for your emotional opinion, for now Tom Brady is the GOAT.

If you are a bettor look to bet the Over on Ingram Rushing. Jackson made it clear he is trying to get Ingram to break a record for the year. Made a ton of money last night on the Ravens in a number of ways including Ingram Rushing.

Had to parlay quite a few because the spread was so huge and I wanted to tease them. Had Ravens/soccer...ravens/NHL...etc.

Lamar Jackson is an incredible talent. However, they were saying the same thing about Mahomes last year.
Lamar is more like Michael Vick(minus the pit bull thing).
He is a great scrambler and accurate passer on the run.
He is extremely fun to watch, especially in a broken play.

However, typically players like him do not last in the NFL.
He most likely will eventually get hit by some linebacker or safety that will put him on injured reserve.

Pocket quarterbacks like Marino & Brady tend to last in the NFL. They do not take a lot of hits because they get rid of the ball quickly. When you are running with the ball and not going into a slide feet first, you are no different than any other running back/receiver. You will be hit hard.
They will try to hit you in the knee if possible.

Please give Lamar Jackson at least 5 years before you compare him to the best quarterback to ever play whose career is now in his 19th season. Seventeen of those as the starter.

This is true. Injuries are inevitable. Many coaches do not want their QB's to run, at all...............
