A coworker of mine was there not more than 100 yards from the explosion. Said it was total chaos...still managed to bring me back a Grateful Dead Lithuanian Basketball t-shirt!
Good plan. It's important to try to send a message to Hollywood that good movies that aren't "woke" will be patronized and by putting butts in seats at the theater, they will multiply that message substantially: "Send us better movies! We make money from them and woke trash like Charlies Angels is breaking us!"
When we were kids, we’d lay my bike on its side, spin the wheel, and see where the spoke ended up. Which one of us was closest to the spoke got to have Rowdy for her boyfriend that day. Other days it was Flint McCullough.
I know what journolists are like, I was on a paper staff 4 years in high school, and several years in college. Various editor positions.
Had a lot of friends in journalism and one roommate as a j major.
They thought everything they received for classwork was hard. Many started partying Thursday night thru to Sunday morning. I’ve been at the journalism parties.
The girls got drunk and if they were horny or liked you, they got very forward. More than once I had to brush off a drunk and handsy female editor.
The main sport, hobby, and past time of the journalist, is drinking. And allcmy journo firends and acquaintences did it, these were the hardcore folks who were in the major AND actually being college paper staff, these were the people who were hardcore about their careers and making their portfolios so they could get better positions once out of college.
It’s accurate. It’s reality.
Which is why I am sure the movie portrays this female reporter accurately.

She always drank a fair amount and smoked a fair amount and took drugs: Prozac for depression, Fen-Phen for weight loss, Lipitor for cholesterol, Xanax for anxiety, Parke said. She took all this stuff that interacted with each other.
Law enforcement loved her, just loved her, said co-author Kent Alexander, a former federal prosecutor. The book does note the time police responded at 3 a.m. when Scruggs refused to get out of a taxi outside a Buckhead hotel. She was drunk, naked and sitting in the drivers seat.
Kathy lived her life very fully, said co-author Kevin Salwen. She lived hard, she played hard.
I think it was Will Rogers who wrote "If you call a wise man a "pinhead" he just laughs. If you call a pinhead a pinhead, he gets mad."
They are probably offended because they resemble Eastwood's portrayal of them quite a lot.
Also, I in the comment section on the linked article, there is someone claiming this woman reporter died of an overdose in 2002. They didn't say of what, but the implication is illicit drugs.
I know a lady whose husband has been in A.A.
Typically in the meetings he attends there will be anywhere between 2 to 4 local television reporters attending.
Just sayin’.
I hope Richard Jewell’s family sues the crap out of the FBI and the media.
Ole Lester firing up the old Urinal and Constipation.
I wonder how long it will be before Wikipedia is scrubbed of its current record of Jewell.
Granted I was overseas when this happened, so I personally am not as knowledgeable about it.
But Wikipedia certainly doesnt portray the enemedia in a good light.
Amazing how we could play & have fun without having to buy stuff - just make do with what was available.
I would spend hours & hours at the Boys Club - leave from elementary school and finally walk home ~ 7-8pm. Played basketball, ping pong, shot pool until I moved away in the 4th grade. I was quite the street rat runner as a young whippersnapper - just a part of growing up.
We were so innocent then and America wasn’t under attack from leftwing communists.
I just stepped out of the theater for a minute. If you didn’t hate the FBI before, you will when if you see this. Incredibly disturbing.
