FBI Warned Six Months Ago About Loophole Pensacola Shooter Used To Obtain A Gun
Hot Air ^ | 12/11/2019 | staff

The FBI warning, dated May 22 and titled “Federal Hunting License Exception Could Be Exploited by Extremists or Criminal Actors Seeking to Obtain Firearms for Violent Attacks,” was sent from the bureau’s Office of Private Sector, according to a copy reviewed by Yahoo News. The warning encouraged businesses to be aware that “extremists and other criminal actors could exploit the federal statutory exception that allows non-immigrant visa holders” who normally can’t buy firearms or ammunition to legally purchase them “with a valid hunting license or permit.”

The warning goes on to note that foreign “terrorist organizations, including ISIS, have encouraged Westerners to exploit perceived gaps in gun laws to conduct mass casualty shooting attacks in their home countries,” and that foreign national visa holders “could use this hunting license exception to obtain firearms to commit violence in the Homeland.”

Once again, the criminal organization FKA the FBI can’t find their rear end with both hands. How many more times do we have to put up with their incompetence and willful neglect of their duty before it is stopped?

Can we visit Saudi Arabia and obtain a handgun while there?
(Rhetorical question)

No foreign nationals - not even military ones from allies - should be allowed to purchase weapons in the USA.

The gate guards to not search people coming in. The vehicles are not searched. If you have a base sticker, vehicles are waved on in.

No non-citizen should be allowed to possess a firearm within US borders.

That being said, armed US citizens are still the only effective defense against this crap.

“It is clear after this incident that this hunting license loophole has a problem. For starters, a person obtaining a hunting permit is probably not going to use a 9mm handgun to hunt...”

I’m sure the provision is there because guides legitimately make money running Japanese tourists on elk hunting trips. They can’t bring a gun in. So they have to acquire one here.

I would think so. Not really an issue in this town. He may have been trying to instigate something. He kept a small bar of gold, stamped with Nazi markings, in a display case. Gave some woman the vapors. He had comical Obama memes on the wall, by the door. You saw them on the way out. I guess someone took offense, because one day a DHS dude showed up in uniform...big whoop...immediately turned to look at them, and said “You seem to have a low opinion of the President.” He responded “Not really. But, I’d like to see him tried for treason. You know how they punish that, don’t you?”

A long time ago, he got his throat slashed in a robbery. He had a couldn’t-give-a-shit attitude.

Green card holders pay federal income taxes and are subject to being drafted into federal military service. If you accept the concept that people here lawfully, who have not broken any laws, do not have God-given Constitutional rights, then you’ve taken your first step down a very slippery slope.

What do you want the FBI to do? They don’t make the laws.

Can anybody name anything of benefit that the FBI has done for this country?

Maybe I’m just blinded by outrage, but I can’t think od anything.

I expect them to enforce the laws and act on credible intelligence. The Parkland shooter had been referred to them THIRTY NINE times and did nothing. The Las Vegas shooting and all the signs went right over their heads. Ruby Ridge, Branch Davidian, Boston Marathon are just a few others where they’ve failed.

Maybe if they did a little less fornicating and lying and more protecting us, we wouldn’t have all these “errors “.
