Brexit, actually. Boris Johnson's funny election advert parodies Love Actually but makes an important point: this election is too close to call. On Friday 13th December, we could have a hung parliament and Jeremy Corbyn could be Prime Minister, or a Conservative majority that gets Brexit done.
Your vote could be the difference. Vote Conservative on Thursday 12th December.

He actually has a card that says “Merry Christmas” (not “Happy Holidays”) and the music is “Silent Night” not “Frosty the Snowman”.
I have to admit, that was really quite good. Nice mix of funny and serious. I really felt the message in the personal way it was being delivered.
That is a great ad.
Wow.
Very Trumpian, in a very British way!
“Enough, lets get this done”
Powerful.
What a great ad!
This was a genius ad. Love Actually is one of my favourite movies and they got it just spot on! As he walked away I said ooh I hope he says enough and he did. It was perfect.
EXCELLENT.
Loved it!
Sanity may be returning to Britain
What would be wrong with portraying a more normal and usual British couple? Is this some sort of pander or something? You pull a random couple out of the hat, and I bet you get one of these at less than 1% probability, but they made a conscious decision to go with this for some reason.
Actually, given the current demographics in England, you are far more likely to get an Arab Muslim couple than a black/white interracial couple.
Other than that weirdness, it's a pretty good ad.
Win big, Boris.
Haha, I noticed that, too. Mainly because I have heard plenty of Brits complain about their tv commercials always featuring a mixed couple that usually consists of a white female/black guy. Which is, btw, not the average British couple by a long shot. The same way an alien watching American tv commercials would believe whites are a tiny minority in this country.
So do the commercials here in America.
Very funny!
Thanks for posting...
The movie had a black/white couple and fascinatingly, the whole "VOTE CONSERVATIVE, ACTUALLY" thing was a pretty close and clever parody.
I did not know that, and now that I do, the ad makes a lot more sense. For this reason, it would have been inappropriate to feature a more usual couple because the intent was to be a parody.
Clearly people who recognized the ad as a parody of "Love Actually", already knew this.
Apparently the "wokeness" is on the part of the movie people who created it.
