Senator Elizabeth Warren envisions a future where our cars don’t run on gas but on the algae growing in our seas. That’s according to her “Blue New Deal” proposal out Tuesday that’s essentially a Green New Deal for the oceans. And what goes in our cars is only one quick example of the ways she would transform our relationship with the sea if she wins the presidency.
This idea of a Blue New Deal has been floated earlier this year. But Warren, whose array of comprehensive climate plans is really quite impressive, is the only presidential candidate so far to put out an oceans-focused environmental plan. Beyond algae for cars, the plan includes investing in efficient shipping ports and marine protected areas. And it couldn’t have come at a more timely moment.

Where do you think they are going to get that additional $10 trillion US Voters?
No they are not going to “tax the rich” or “cut Defense Spending” to pay for it. Their “tax the rich” scheme gets them $665 billion over 10 years. The entire DOD budget is $623 billion annually

This is the only good idea I’ve heard from her. There’s a huge algae area in the Gulf off of the mouth of the Mississippi River that seems to me might be harvested. Would serve two purposes, make fuel, clean up the Gulf.
I guess that's better than “We are five days away from fundamentally transforming the United States of America” as a well known Marxist said about eleven years ago.
What if I don't want my relationship with the sea to change?

• I do not want to get lost at sea and drift aimlessly for a year before landing on an unpopulated remote atoll
• I DO like eating the fishies from the deep blue sea
The sea and I have a good relationship right now. Why would I want the God damned government interfering with our relationship?
What you want is algae that produce either 1-butanol or isobutanol. Either one is basically a drop-in replacement for gasoline, which ethanol isn’t.
Well, let’s see how her plan plays out to the whales, sharks and other registered voters in the ocean.

You’ve just given me a new take on the Third Commandment. Our current behind the scenes swamp led government is sinful, therefore evil. I feel as though God has damned all of these people, therefore it is a “God Damned Government”, and not taking the name of the Lord in vain.
And may God help Trump send every one of those evil bastards to Hell. Warren included.
I guess I’m not opposed to creating something from the oceans that will run internal combustion engines. However, let private industry develop it naturally and not be forced on us by Democrats before it’s ready and will cost $44.50/gallon and outlaw gasoline at the same time.

Even if they are not sincere, politicians normally run on policies the people are concerned about. But just who in America are concerned about “man made climate change”?
The American people have since the 1970 been warned about what will happen if we ignore man made climate change and to date none of their predictions have come true.
So why are the left pushing so hard to turn our nation into a third world hell hole?
I guess the short answer is power and money. Power comes by passing rules, regulations and laws to solve a non-existent problem which happens to cost a lot of money.
Since what they propose is not anything where you can measure results they never actually have to do anything.
It is a massive con job on the world.
Back to my original point, is Elizabeth Warren serious about running for President? Answer No. She (like the rest of the clowns in the car with her) are not serious, they are place holders. The real candidate will be reveal soon.
The Impeachment hearings are designed to weaken the President not necessarily remove him from office. But like Wylie Coyote the Democrat’s plan does not seem to be working.
She’s going to be so disappointed when Hillary Clintoon, the Queen of Show Me The Green deals grabs the nomination.
So, she wants to REDUCE the amount of oxygen generated?? I mean the planet IS 75% covered in water & the ‘green stuffs’ creates a good chunk/majority of the O2, IIRC.

Under Liz’s plan, can the homeless still crap in the streets which runs into the Pacific Ocean such as in San Francisco and Los Angels?
