Rand Paul: Deep state protected John Brennan's security clearance! (06/04/2019)

Sen. Rand Paul suspects someone revoked President Trump's order to have former CIA Director John Brennan's security clearance revoked.

The president announced in August that Brennan's security clearance was being stripped due to "erratic behavior" that disqualified him from having access to sensitive information. But the White House never followed through with the complicated bureaucratic process of revocation, a source told the New York Times in a report published last month.

Asked to comment about it in an interview on CNN, Paul said the "deep state," in which federal or military officials defy a democratically elected government, was likely to blame."Now the deep state is actually protecting their own and not listening to the president's orders," the Kentucky Republican said on Tuesday. "I was sitting in the White House when President Trump said I want his security clearance taken, and I saw the order given. I saw the chief of staff was there, not the current chief of staff, the previous chief of staff."

Brennan was the “fixer” who got rid of inconvenient documents and people to pave the way for the Kenyanesian Usurpation.

I might’ve once scoffed at the idea of a “deep state”, but not any longer.

If this is true, DJT might as well make the Administrative State a co-equal branch of government.

Sedition. It’s the Democrat way.

“Regular” people who hold clearances can be put thru a lot of crap for the slightest thing. Not the Deep State folks. They’re much more equal animals, apparently.

Should be a relative quick and easy search to walk up the chain of command and see where it broke.

Federal employees in DC are either deep state or the supporters of the deep state. Government must not be centralized in DC.

Apparently so
Thumb in the eye to Trump, makes us all look bad

So much for “ no one is above the law”

Forget Brennans seditious comments...lying to Congress can be proved and should be grounds to get it yanked

It must be legal since no one is in trouble over it.

Hard to avoid concluding that the elected government is really not in control and the US is under enemy occupation.

Rand Paul is the only Senator who has the stones to publicly accuse John Brennan of the role we know he all played in this coup attempt

That’s my reaction, as well. Unless there is an employee named Deep State, there’s a name attached to this action/inaction. The President should demand, and receive accountability, on several levels.

This should not be difficult to expose. Start with the low-level fed employee who changes the data. Threaten and work up the chain, threatening as you go along. Make examples of those who defy. Ultimately, you get to the seditionist.

Should be a relative quick and easy search to walk up the chain of command and see where it broke.

In this case it would appear even more direct, indeed preferable, to "walk down" the chain of command:
Sen Paul: "I was sitting in the White House when President Trump said I want his security clearance taken, and I saw the order given. I saw the chief of staff was there, not the current chief of staff, the previous chief of staff."

Hard to avoid concluding that the elected government is really not in control and the US is under enemy occupation.

At a bare minimum, senior R politicians should recognize the US is under a serious attack by very capable "domestic enemies". That force came out of the closet in mass just before and after the 2016 election (it was certainly in play when Obama was selected over Hillary).

The attack rests in large part on the fact our political opposition has been seduced and compromised, while at the same time our educational system has been politically emasculated.
