Police say Henry Harvey and his wife were waiting in line at the retailer around 7:15 p.m., when Harvey “became angry over the customers in front of them taking too long to check out at the register," per a news release.
Harvey and another customer then got into a verbal argument, which turned physical when Harvey punched the victim in the head. The victim was not seriously injured, police say.
Harvey then left the Walmart and went home, where police apprehended the 69-year-old and placed him under arrest. He was charged with battery.

I had a cashier that I came real close to cussing out. She would pick everything up and looks it over saying how pretty or cute it was. 20+ items she looked over like she was slowly browsing the store. I think she was reading the labels. The only thing that calmed me down was seeing the lady behind me look at the cashier with that face Tucker has when dealing with a dumbass. Then she looked at me and we just shook our heads and tried not to laugh out loud.
Doesn’t have to be your entire city, just the area of the city you’re in. In my observations, it generally seems like the under 50 cohort is fine with self-checkout and it’s the over-50s that complain about it. That’s not hard and fast, there are exceptions to both, but it seems to be a general rule.

Also, who are they to judge my choices? So what if I buy male sex enhancement pills, adult depends, large spiked dog collars and lady’s underwear?

Also, I'm assuming the loser in the mug shot was late for getting his substance abuse fix. Marijuana. Crack. Maybe he had just picked up his supply of pain meds. Or booze.
Anyway, loser addicts get very testy when they can't meet their schedule.

And here lies the initial problem. Cause and effect from the decision to replace cashiers with more self check out. It is very inconvenient for customers with full carts. In fact it is counter productive because now fewer customers even want to FILL a cart and only grab a couple items and run. If I owned a store I would want every customer to fill a cart completely full every trip.
The worst experience is the Walmart Prescription line because it is always “What meds can I afford today?” and “What do you mean I can’t have it. My uncle needs his Oxy. Allow me to explain why. “. I used it twice and went back to Kroger.
That grates on my nerves to no end.
wal mart is following old k mart policies.... let them into the store but dont let them out.... very few if any cashiers on duty...
I was once in line behind one snail who, as the checker scanned the items, logged onto her phone app bank account and argued with the checker about the amount that had just posted.
The verbal assault lasted a long while until a manager explained that the difference between her total at the register and what posted on her phone was sales tax.
I'm just sayin'....
Up here, you get Canadians that come over and buy for 2-4 different people. Sooo, stop and pay for a portion, so fortha nd so on.
