They went to some very twisted logic to conclude that there was no bias in opening the investigation. Lisa Page supposedly had little involvement in the decision. Szrok was involved but wasn’t the primary decision maker. They try to pin it on Priestup. I guess he was the one with the least bias.

I’m curious about the implications of the conspiratorial nature of the plot. I understand conspiracy can be criminal in and of itself, but what does that mean? Because the Crossfire Hurricane plot was a criminal conspiracy of the most blatant sort. Is it like criminal homicide, where you can be guilty of murder if someone dies during the commission of a crime even if you didn’t directly kill anyone? Meaning if one conspirator altered evidence (like Lisa Page did) is a co-conspirator (like Comey) liable for the same penalty even though he didn’t physically do the altering of evidence? I need some free legal advice here!
