Joe Biden asserted that his childhood stutter is not the source of his much-publicized verbal stumbles on the campaign trail.
“I don't think of myself as continuing to stutter," Biden said in an Axios on HBO interview that aired Sunday. "But apparently people will say occasionally say [in fact when] I'm tired, I'll go, I'll say, um, uh, and I'll find myself searching for a second."

During the July Democratic presidential primary debate, Biden had numerous stumbles. He told viewers to "go to Joe 3-0-3-3-0" when he likely meant to say to text the number to show support for his campaign; said that a "Medicare for all" single-payer healthcare plan "in 10 years will cost $3 trillion" when most estimates put the 10-year cost at around $32 trillion; and accidentally referred to New Jersey Sen. Cory Booker as the "future president."
“Look, the mistakes I make are mistakes. And some people think I still stutter. I don't think of myself that way,” Biden told Axios.

Joe is just too old to be president.
To say he is past his peak ( pique) is putting it mildly.
Someone needs to tell him he’s too old for this. Whatever mind he had he’s losing.

Joe Biden is a bad man.
It seems that Quid Pro Joe is immune from gaffes. I don’t think the term was even used in a political sense before the Nixon administration, when Joe was his first Senate victory.
Even if I agreed with Biden on the issues, I would be concerned about his mental state.

I’m thinking the only childhood ailment that lingers with him is his abject stupidity. I’m waiting for him to take that smartass tone with the wrong guy who’ll respond, “F**k you Joe! I’ll go out behind the gym with you!”
He doesn’t seem to realize that rational voters would prefer a speech impediment over mental decline.
Of course, finding the rational voter is a challenge. I was just reading an article that quoted some potential Democrat primary voters saying that they agreed with the policy proposals of Elizabeth Warren or Bernie Sanders, but they planned to vote for Joe Biden “because I’ve just always liked him.”
Maybe, subconsciously, they’re rational enough to understand that Joe may be senile, but he’s not a looney-toons barking mad moonbat ideologue.
He carries a notebook with explanations for his stupid remarks.

Remember when McCain running(??) against Bo whenever he would slip up it was attributed to his age, medical conditions (OR if far enough ahead) Long term effects from POW etc etc etc
When BO would come out with outlandish crap (57 states etc) or misreading the teleprompter (it was quickly learned that if the TP didn’t have, he couldn’t ‘say it’) it was attributed to his youth and exuberance and ‘they’ pointed out that ALL geniuses were somewhat ‘eccentric’....
Same symptoms, depends who is spouting it.
