Look at the person carrying the pig. Nose rings, spiky red hair. He could be playing bass for AC-DC.

LOL! It’s very late in 2019, but you have just written the BEST FR response of the year! Well done!

That’s from the British comedy ‘The Young Ones’. One of the funniest shows I’ve ever seen.

I got a letter from the Veterans Adminstration asking me to participate in a genetic study to help research to benefit veterans. I had my doubts as to how my genetic material would be used so I declined.

There is a theory out there that humans are essentially that, primates with a pig hybrid in the line somewhere, due to humans having too much in common with both species that no other species shares. http://macroevolution.net

Although both died within a week and appeared to be normal, the baby animals had genetic material from cynomolgus monkeys in their heart, liver, spleen, lung and skin.
Scientists said the research, which required more than 4,000 embryos to get the piglets, aims to find ways of growing human organs in animals for transplantation.
.............
Five-day old piglet embryos had monkey stem cells injected into them that had been adjusted to produce a flourescent (sic) protein, allowing researchers to find out where the cells ended up. [
]
ok, genetic material from monkeys, injected into 5 day embryos, and it ended up in heart, liver spleen lungs and skin.
The 87-year-old told the Sunday Telegraph: If the result of xenotransplantation is satisfactory with porcine kidneys to humans then it is likely that hearts would be used with good effects in humans within a few years.
If it works with a kidney, it will work with a heart... That will transform the issue, he explained.
Pigs hearts have a similar anatomy to those of humans, so they are used as models for developing new treatments. Heart failure is considered a global pandemic, with at least 26 million people affected around the world. Its hoped that using pigs hearts could help revolutionize how doctors combat the disease.

I remember the first experiments in mechanical hearts and heart transplants. Look where we are now.

Crossbreeding is not allowed in Nature. The fetus will miscarry and if two animals have very close DNA, the offspring will be born sterile. Cows and bison=sterile, horse and donkey= sterile mules.
There are no real Minotaurs.
