I would like flight attendant jobs to be five year contracts. Let them compete for a new contract every five years. I think it is a job that, done well, requires high energy and enthusiasm. Much like being a kindergarten teacher, I think those qualities become awfully difficult to maintain.
They call them “Sky hags.”
She was a 57 year union employee. Trust me, there wasn't that much work going on. She was milking the system.
Scratch that-- cigar.
geez.....if only I knew then to go for the jobs that required no education, no real skills.....union/govt....that's the ticket....

It seemed like both times Obama won there was a lot more updating of results during the 9-11 pm period.
Perhaps it is media bias, perhaps it is my memory, perhaps it indicates fraud.
There are young people out there raising families, putting kids through college etc etc. It'[s their turn. Be graceful...Retire.

Attendants half her age, likely doing more work, earn half her pay. Where’s the sympathy there? Airline Pilots are forced out at age 65. Do you have sympathy for them? Airline passengers are treated like crap. Where’s their sympathy?
There is really no excuse for how our guv puts it’s thumb on the union side of the scale. Just leads to stuff like this. Look to mini and state employee unions and the ridiculous retirement benefits will bankrupt all the mere private sector workers.
the union collects from the workers...and “donates” to the politicians ....doncha know?
Funny, I never see women like her working on the Asian airlines that I fly on, nor the Middle East based airlines.
Europe airlines...I guess they like the American ‘model’.
