Todays Cryptogram
From yesterday's Arkansas Gazette. The author has been here recently, so doubt that many will miss who it is.
Anything under 4 minutes is good, under 2 minutes would be excellent and you wear the Cape of Beauty Soap.*

You can find this little fun word game, to combat early dementia and senility in us baby boomers, in several daily publications.
The way it works is a letter stands for another letter. For example: AXYDLBAAXR is LONGFELLOW (does not apply to today's cryptogram).
Beware, the game is very addictive. If this is your first time, don't be intimidated.
PLEASE DO NOT post the answer in general comments, but DO post your time and any tips you might give the group on how you solve these puzzles as puzzle solvers love to hear how you made out.
You can certainly send your solution to my private reply, or if you need a hint for todays Cryptogram.
* From the Clark Gable movie, The Hucksters
If you need a little help you can copy the cryptogram and paste it to Hals Helper below:
You can then work on the puzzle without using pen and paper.
2 minutes
Word after the comma, author, is a good beginning. About 2 min.
Solution to our last puzzle:
WE WILL SEEK FRIENDSHIP AND GOODWILL WITH ALL NATIONS OF THE WORLD, BUT WE DO SO WITH THE UNDERSTANDING ITS THE RIGHT OF ALL NATIONS TO PUT THEIR OWN INTERESTS FIRST. TRUMP
Everyone had fun with this quote yesterday, and found it fairly easy.
First two words.
Two minutes, said the fat man.
That is about what it took me
Sometimes I get stuck, and other times I cruise right along.
That was actually an easy one because the first word was obvious.
I discombobulated myself by starting with paTTon as the author.
It went downhill from there, put it down and started over and finally finished it.
However, the statement could have been made by Patton had he thought of it first... Patton could have made a lot of the ‘early’ statements....
The first two words jump off the page.
