Thank you for the clarification however, my comment was directed at Trudeau and company talking about our President being 40 minutes late because he was with the press.
Yep. Shame on the media for misrepresenting Princess Anne’s comment and the Queen’s behavior.

Of course that makes sense. It was completely innocent.
No. That was the Queen's sister, Princess Margaret, a drinker. Anne is the Queen's daughter and is much admired by the Brits for her charity works. She has been married twice, but both marriages have been long and scandal-free. She is still married to her second husband, and is an involved grandmother to the children of her son and daughter.
The Queen's mother was full-blood British, born in Scotland. Prince Philip is Greek and Danish. Prince Charles is perhaps one-eighth German. Both Diana and Kate have long British ancestry, some of it royal, so William's children are only a squillionth German. Time to retire that old chestnut that has been a slur since Queen Victoria's time.
I'm one of her fans. Her sense of decorum and tireless, selfless duty, combined with her subtle sense of humor and amazing stamina, are quite admirable.
Don't say that to a Greek. "Schleswig-Holstein-Sonderburg-Glücksburg" isn't exactly a name like Papadopoulos. The family was Danish royalty for a much longer period, but most of Phil's ancestry was German. Some English, too, since both Phil and Liz are descended from Queen Victoria. Hence the "inbred."

It’s not aging that is the issue. It’s her determination not to have her hair and makeup done, when she could certainly well afford it. She looks like a fishwife with that dull ratty hair and receding hairline; she does her lips narrowly like she has to make a single lipstick last for several years, and has stopped grooming her eyebrows and lashes. Granted, it’s her choice; but she is a public figure and it wouldn’t kill her to make a little effort, since her clothing is usually very smart.
