I’ve seen this movie too many times.
‘It’s a Wonderful Life’ still holds up pretty well.

If I were on a flight to Singapore and listening to this from the passenger next to me, I’d hang myself before flying over Catalina.

I took the city for granted as the only place any reasonable person would want to live. THAT was your FIRST MISTAKE........................

If your Kants categorical imperative is to be one of the greatest human beings who ever existed by snorting coke I don’t think I want you to be managing my Morgan Stanley account. Good for Debbie!

All the hallmark movies are the same. they just change horse farm, to flower shop, to wine vineyard, and change (some) of the actors.

Poor Dead End Guy.
Dead End Guy will probably never reproduce and as a lawyer will do nothing to improve the world. He is an oxygen thief.
His former girlfriend and her husband will make their mark by marrying, having kids and raising them into decent human beings. Because that is in the end the only reason for civilization. The continuation of the human race.
It is interesting that these movies come in for so much snark because they showcase the kind of values most people really have.
It is the usual attack on middle America and middle class values.
