I don't mind in the least that people have money. You want a $30,000 purse? That's nice. You belong to a club with a $65,000 initiation fee, plus $19,000 in annual dues? That's good too. But if, with that kind of money, something happens to your purse, I think you should shrug it off.

I'll tell you -- if something happens to my wallet, I would shrug it off. It's $40 -- I'll get another. But if you freak out because your purse is damaged, then maybe you shouldn't have such a nice purse. Shame on you for buying things like that. You obviously can't really afford it, because you can't afford to lose it.

I’m with ya. Clean it, but anyone bringing a non-cleanable purse into a restaurant has the responsibility for any damage beyond a reasonable cleaning bill. She can’t being into an establishment anything that obligates the owner beyond reasonable obligations.

I don’t own a Hermes but I do own some nice bags. Couple of LV’s, a Chanel, Gucci, Dior, etc. I bought them to use. I’m not any extra careful with them than I am with anything else other than keeping an eye on them so no one steals them. That Hermes can probably be cleaned.
