Sen. Elizabeth Warren, D-Mass., introduced a bill Wednesday that would posthumously revoke 20 Medals of Honor awarded to U.S. soldiers who slaughtered hundreds of Native Americans -- mostly women and children -- at the Wounded Knee Massacre of 1890.
The Remove the Stain Act accompanies a House version introduced earlier this year by Democrats Paul Cook of California, Denny Heck of Washington and Deb Haaland of New Mexico.

What a complete jackass.
They seriously have nothing important to do up there.
You can’t retroactively revoke a Congressional Medal of Honor— never has been done or COULD be done. It’s not an “Act”.
Got a better one that one could wish could be revoked though. Major Daniel Sickles-— US Army , July 2nd, 1863
It took this jacka@@ 34 years, but he finally wangled a Medal of Honor, for destroying his IIIrd Corps of the Army of the Potomac at the Battle of Gettysburg. Slaughtered most of the Corps.
He moved the whole Corps way out in front of the heights (almost a mile down on the flat land- The Peach Orchard)—in direct disobedience of Genl. Meade’s orders. He made the argument that he “saved the Army” on the 2nd day of the Battle. Truly ridiculous and politically manipulated award.
On top of the fact that he murdered Francis Scott Key’s son in front of several witnesses (for signalling to Sickle’s wife who was having an affair out of revenge for Sickle’s having brought whores to their home in D.C.— no kidding). Sickles was acquitted by reason of temporary insanity— by is attorney the future Sec. of War for Abe Lincoln... Mr. Stanton!!! Incredible. And the press of Washington was as bad or worse than it is now- such was and is the corruption.
there never should have been honors given for such dishonorable acts, but it’s going on a hundred and fifty years now, and I think those troopers have gone on to receive their true rewards in hell by now... making a publicity stunt out of it now helps no one.. that said, I’m glad that the history of that horrible incident has been corrected, and no one today honors those soldiers.
Now, if we could just correct the history of the War of Northern Aggression to reflect some truth——————
Harvard should have fired Warren when they learned that she lied about her American Indian ancestry, and that should have been the last that anyone heard of her.
Good grief...
WELL! WE HAVE been saying the Democrats are nuts haven’t we.
You could easily call it the Wounded Knee Battle. The indians were fighting with the soldiers. Its not like the title implies where the soliders went in intending to massacre people. Bad stuff happens in battle sometimes.
If you read into the incident its really unclear what exactly happened. The indians did attack the soldiers, by some accounts first, so there was a battle. But on the other hand women and children were killed as well. I’m not sure anyone knows the details such as how many were killed simply accidentally and which if any soldiers did it. It may be that there were some soldiers that did behave heroically while others took part in the massacre. Even some soldiers may have been casualties of friendly fire.
Good point. The press greatest lie is that they are fair. The devils greatest lie is that he doesnt exist.
Does the Senate have any say in awarding medals to members of the military?
This is just too funny! The headline is all you need.
Somebody attach an ammendment to revoke John Kerry’s purple heart.
What a pandering blankety-blank!
Erasing history. It’s what leftists are all about. There is no past, present, or future other than what the state dictates.
Revisionist history. Cant we just move on from something that happened 130 years ago? Whats next? Censuring Washington and Jefferson for owning slaves? Or maybe just removing their title as President?
Whoa! You MUST send me or post more information on that!
That was all very interesting. Thanks!
Sickles was a U.S. congressman when he shot Key.
I’ll have to read more about this guy.
Back to her roots, that’s nice
