I vent for 20 minutes about my home state.
Mr. Vice, a man in his 30s, married with a child, gives many reasons why he is leaving the state in which he has lived his entire life.
Good for him now his kids have a chance to grow up normal and not be taxed to death.
I was born and raised in this state.
I will stay and fight.
And if you could see what it’s done to me
To lose the the love I knew
Could safely lead me through.
Between the silence of the mountains
And the crashing of the sea
There lies a land I once lived in
And she’s waiting there for me.
But in the grey of the morning
My mind becomes confused
Between the dead and the sleeping
And the road that I must choose.

They used to say that everyone should live in California for five years. I lasted ten before leaving at the end of 2015. I should have stuck to the five year plan.
It broke our hearts to leave, but when they robbed our next door neighbors and busted open their safe we decided it was time to go. Almost every house in our million dollar neighborhood was robbed.
Wait a second are they shutting the power on and off in San Francisco because I think its going to help stop wildfires?
Hawaii has the same problems. Honolulu has turned into a third world sh!th*le. Watched someone pissing and taking a dump on the mall, RIGHT NEXT TO THE STATE CAPITOL BUILDING, less than 2 weeks ago. Worst “homeless” problem in the country. Hundreds of brain-damaged walking dead wandering the streets. Anything not nailed down liable to be stolen by scuzzbucket homeless and drug addicts. For us this really started when Obama took office and everything started turning to crap.
He is very VERY credible.
There are more than 30 million illegal aliens in the US and they are on welfare.
He quotes accurately that California has a third of all welfare recipients.
It’s safe to say there are more than 10 million illegals in California.
It is going to take an army to move them out.
We need to start thinking like the Eisenhower America. It’s not a game anymore.
cut the entitlements. and jobs they will self deport...
I know how you feel. I really had a good youth in Illinois. It kills me to see it turn into a disaster. I feel bad for my friends who live there and dont know better.
In Illinois, probably 80% of the citizens are robbery victims. They are robbed at every turn by the many (and I mean, MANY) governmental agencies there.

If you figure out where you want to go, I’d be interested. Frankly my wife and I have thought about leaving the country. Best countries are S. Korea, Taiwan or Japan, but obviously they all have their own issues, fear of China/N.Korea etc. But all of them are much more sane than America is now. But you would have to make a huge cultural shift. Both my wife and I understand some Japanese and Korean (she basically though is fluent in Japanese and way ahead of me in Korean). If Hillary had become president, we would seriously have considered going to S.Korea and had that as a contingency plan.
I made it through one, back in the sixties!

Try Virginia.

Ditto. We are witnessing the end game of the destruction of the American civilization. Started in the ‘50s, accelerated in the ‘60s, and attained warp speed in 2016. I’ve seen a lot in my 60+ years, I never thought I would see this even though I knew the potential existed.
2nd generation CA. My grandchildren are the fourth generation. I have happily escaped this year and pray every day that my children and grandchildren will join us.
Get rid of the welfare state. Problem solved!
