A Philadelphia McDonalds worker was brutally attacked and beaten unconscious by a group of teen boys after she didn't give them free food, according to her family.
Khadijah Lovett told NBC10 her 17-year-old cousin Charm Sullivan was beaten by at least four boys Wednesday night inside the McDonalds restaurant on Broad Street and Hunting Park where she was working behind the counter.

No doubt part of the “gibsmedat” demographic. If you have more - of anything - than them they believe they are entitled to it.
Sounds like somebody got “dissed”.
Hey - man you talkin’ back to me?
Take him out
You gotta keep ‘em separated
Hey - man you disrespecting me?
Take him out
You gotta keep ‘em separated
Hey they don’t pay no mind
If you’re under 18 you won’t be doing any time
Hey, come out and play
I wonder if those Teens ever saw the movie Clockwork Orange?
Hmmm, at this rate I might develop a case of teen o phobia.
Were they “Just singin’ in the rain”?
> Something doesnt smell right. <
This incident seems legit. A sudden outburst of violence will freeze many people. And for someone who doesnt freeze, they might still hesitate to act. This fight was four against one. Four against two just might mean two people go to the hospital.
Sometimes the best you can realistically hope for in situations like this is that some bystander calls the cops. Thats sad, I know.
McDonald’s needs to fire and replace the customer facing employees with kiosks for their protection.
So....when McDonalds closes and moves out of the area because their employees aren’t safe, I’m guilty of racism because the people there live in a ‘food desert’?
I’ve always wanted to go to Philadelphia to see Independence Hall, the Liberty Bell, etc. Stories like this are what keep me away.
“She should sue McDs for failing to protect her.”
Any sane person would.
McD’s put their businesses all over town and does not provide security. Ever.
Or, I should say I’ve never seen any in 50 years of visiting more the 100 of them across dozens of states.
Anyone else?
Whereas MANY other businesses have a security guard anytime the doors are open.
The historic area (Society Hill) is OK. The nice areas are safe except for right after school and very late at night.
"This should help you to calm down."
“”the ordeal began when Sullivan denied giving a group of teens free food.””
Probably the reporters should brush up on the meaning of the word “denied”....how about “refused” to give them free food?? She gave them food and denied it? Good grief - fire them!
They all deserve JD cards.
I can’t help “right after school”, but I wouldn’t be caught dead outside “very late at night.”
“Without this information, how do I know if I should be outraged or not?”
No need to be outraged. It was definitely NOT a hate crime.
What about Valley Forge? Is it far enough away from the city?
