Steve Kerr wasn't lying. After the Warriors' first game of the season, a dreary 141-122 blowout loss to the Clippers, Kerr warned the media that these sorts of games wouldn't be an anomaly.
"This is not a one-off, this is the reality," Kerr told reporters. "There's going to be nights like this this year."
After the Warriors' 142-94 drubbing at the hands of the Mavericks on Wednesday night, Kerr never seemed more prescient. (Of course, he probably didn't foresee injuries to Stephen Curry, Draymond Green, and D'Angelo Russell.) The 48-point loss was the franchise's worst in nearly 50 years. Twenty-year-old superstar Luka Dončić put up a 35-point triple-double in just 26 minutes of play. And the Warriors remain at the very bottom of the Western Conference, their 3-13 record the worst in the entire NBA.

My San Antonio Spurs (once a Great Dynasty) is not much better than GSW.
Spurs are at 5 - 10.
I followed NBA action for years. Knew the teams, the players, the standings and more.
Now? Now the Spurs and the NBA are at the top of my IGNORE LIST.
Especially since Tim Duncan, Manu Ginobili and Tony Parker are gone. And Coach Popovich has turned into an insufferable liberal idiot.
Neither is anyone else. Maybe they need some better coaching.

My last game at the Warriors stadium in Oakland was fun. Before the game I saw Manute Bol and Spud Webb posing for pictures on the court: tallest and shortest smiling together.
Since then the Warriors were good and non-patriotic for a few years. Now the Warriors are back to their usual spot: at the bottom.
Warriors are light years ahead of the NBA! The problem is that they can’t defend with Curry and Russell and Green can defend but can’t shoot. They needed Durant’s hobbled butt to bail out their sophisticated system while treating him like dirt.

I’ve pretty much hated the Spurs since their team’s players refused to shoot the ball so David Robinson could take almost every single shot and score 70 points so he could win the league’s scoring title by a fraction of a percent over Shaquille Oneal. Real jerk move, imo.

Warriors lost to the Seattle SuperSonics by 45 in the 1970-71 season. I was there watching with my high school team.
