CANTON A 14-year-old boy killed a teen girl execution style because he apparently believed a false rumor she was pregnant and thought he was the father, according to prosecutors.
Isiah Lynch pleaded true the juvenile equivalent of guilty Wednesday to a murder charge for the March fatal shooting of 14-year-old Sylvia McGee.
Lynch was 13 at the time of McGees death.
Following a plea hearing in juvenile court, Assistant Prosecutor Michelle Cordova said Lynch told police he believed McGee was pregnant.
That is what I believe got this whole thing started, she said, noting McGee was not his girlfriend. There was no evidence of any other reason for this.
Cordova said the girl had not been pregnant, citing the results of McGees autopsy.
Lynch also pleaded true to obstructing justice for giving false and misleading information to police and an accompanying gun specification.
He is scheduled to be sentenced Jan. 7. Stark County Family Court Judge Rosemarie Hall is presiding over the case.
Several of the victims family members attended the plea hearing.
Carlina Hanley, McGees great aunt, reacted afterward.
Its still not closure, she said, her voice breaking. (Lynch) should have just admitted it from the beginning.
She didnt deserve that, Hanley said. She wasnt that type of a kid. She was upbeat and funny. I just cant believe that he did that.
Tears streamed down her cheeks as she recalled a teen who often confided in her and sought advice.
Hanley remembers a bright spirit; a girl who helped others, making sure her grandmother took her medicine.
McGee had improved her grades and aspired to be a beautician.
She talked about owning her own business, Hanley said. She talked about moving to New York and taking her maternal grandmother with her.

Because the music you listened to and watched did not portray girls as sluts and whores and golddiggers who need to be beat up and controled.
I don’t believe this is the right person. First, the Twitter account these photos came from are listed as “Isaiah Lynch”, not “Isiah Lynch” and, secondly, the photos appear to have been posted in December, 2012, so if he looked like this in 2012 and is 14 years old today, then this is how he looked at age 7 or 8.

Hell be the most popular girl in prison
Trial, conviction, wood chipper. Save the taxpayers the cost of feeding and housing this degenerate for another 60-70 years.
I sure hope Dr. Jocelyn Elders is happy with this outcome, or at least not surprised by it.
Where did you see his pic?
Sad...but expected,due to lax morals.
“He’s Only a Lad”
Children in This Town
Children in this town, Children in this town
We cross the streets until dawn,
Haunted souls in the darkness of the night,
The moon is lighting up the cold town,
The longing is giving us endless strength.
We’re the angels of the night
We’re the children in this town
And until the dawn
We can feel the heartbeat of this town
We’re scared, just as you are
We feel the pain just the way you do
We want to live just as you do
But we can’t live, not the way you do.
When he gets out, at age 18, her father will....
Oh, nevermind.
Sorry, I think the victims family should decide punishment. Pop a 9mm in the back of that rodent head and be done with it.
Hes probably not the sharpest tool in the shed and thought she could be pregnant because he touched her.
Yeah, you’re right!
A co-defendant, Michael J. Boykins, 14, recently pleaded true to tampering with evidence. A complicity to aggravated murder charge had been reduced.
I hate to break it to you but this weeks episode go "The Blacklist" they had men getting pregnant. It only required a womb transplant and a fertilized egg. Perverts wet dream.
Soon I will be relegated to YouTube land, I refuse to watch Social Justice themed shows controlled by woke morons.
No alleged to it. She was pregnant - before 9 weeks - but still pregnant. His trial will be up in the coming year for her murder.
Prisons are full of black men because of racism.
So it’s finally happened: Lions are lying down with lambs (but, to quote Woody Allen, I still don’t think the lambs will get much sleep.)
