“A Career Is More Meaningful Than Marriage and Children”
I like to test lifestyle choices with the question “what if everyone chose that?”. If no one chose a meaningful career over marriage and children, we’d have a society with a lot of people feeling unfulfilled, career-wise. If everyone chose a meaningful career over marriage and children, we’d quickly become extinct.

5. ANY guy can raise ANY OTHER GUY’S kid and love the kid just as much.
Baby daddies are interchangeable.
So don’t worry about marriage or even dating the guy.
Cause you’ll have the kid and whoever you date will treat that kid like their very own.
99 percent of the time it doesn’t work that way.
I give credit to the 1 percent of men that do treat the kids like their own.
The Wall is still undefeated.
Men need American women like a bicycle needs a fish.
Fortunately there are other options.
Regarding #2 men having tons of casual sex isn’t good for society either. It leads to children out of wedlock, who have poorer outcomes than children raised in a two-parent family. STDs also don’t care what kind of plumbing you have; a promiscuous man is just as likely to get them as a promiscuous woman. STD treatment then raises health care costs for everyone.
As for #4 I think it depends very much on the woman. Some women do find fulfillment in a career, others just get bored, some women want to be mothers, others don’t. Fulfillment, like beauty, is in the eye of the beholder.

But, our economy has been transformed to adjust work and pay to a workforce that has absorbed women. There's no going back.
A job in an office shuffling emails from your inbox to your outbox, figuring out how to get work done after some 23 year old software genius just broke all your software again with a new "feature" that you will never use and a new user interface that makes it harder to do the few things your really need to do.
After a day like that you just go home bursting with the joy of having a career like that.

Back in the 70’s I noticed that Dad’s were being removed from TV commercials as part of the family unit. Eventually it was the woman who ran the family from top to bottom. Not saying there is anything wrong with that. Just an observation on my part.

I say this as the mother of four successful daughters, 10 fabulous granddaughters, and five great-granddughters-—every one a caution!

Cry me a bleeping river. Women will vote overwhelmingly for the DEM candidate in 2020, regardless of how bad the candidate is. This is what they have voted for, and I have only have sympathy for those women who don’t see men as evil.

That after putting casual sex and career first, a woman is going to be able to get a good man to settle down with in their 30s......ie the 4 happy endings for all 4 women on Sex in the City. Sorry. No. That’s not reality. Look at the numbers. Want a good man? Get him in your 20s. Do not waste your youth.

My kids needed me in the home in their teens, too. Different needs but needs just the same. My place was in the home and the whole family benefited from me being there. My city benefitted. My church benefitted. The whole world benefitted.
The MAN-HATING attitude of all too many of the LOUD-mouthed “modern” American “feminists” is a MAJOR reason that many American Servicemen & EX-GIs are LOOKING ABROAD for a WIFE. = In Eastern Europe & Asia, there are a GREAT MANY smart/lovely/talented/educated/ladylike “traditional women”, who WANT a traditional marriage & (GASP!) desire to bear/raise his children.
(My LADY was born in Portland, OR 2 weeks after her parents FLED to the USA, to avoid religious/political persecution BUT she is as much a traditionally “old-school” lady as any bride, who was born abroad.)
God willing, I’m KEEPING HER for the rest of my life, as she is what The Bible calls, “- - - a pearl beyond price”.

Gloria Steinem always got an undeserved free pass on that quote. Did any of the fawning "journalists" who interviewed her over the years ever ask why she didn't live her own life that way? Not needing men? GS's whole schtick was making promiscuity fashionable. She may not have needed a man for financial security, but otherwise ….

Most jobs suck. Sayings like “hump day” and “thank God it’s Friday” did not get invented because people love their jobs.
Fertility begins to decline around age 28. Just because some Hollywood actress had a baby at age 44 does not mean all women can. That Hollywood actress is not mentioning that she used an egg donor and/or a surrogate mother.
I was in my doctor’s office and saw a poster saying that one of the things that puts a woman at higher risk for breast cancer is NOT having a baby, and breastfeeding that baby, by age 29. (Breast cancer used to be called “the nuns’ disease.”) Are young women being told this? I doubt it.
