Police in New York City are investigating a grisly double-murder suicide in which they say a man decapitated his wife, slit the throat of their five-year-old daughter and then took his own life by hanging Wednesday night, just hours after a scheduled divorce hearing.
According to the NYPD, at around 9.18pm officers responded to a 911 call requesting a welfare check inside an apartment at 151 West 121st Street in the Harlem section of Manhattan.
Upon entering the unit, officers found a 46-year-old man, his 42-year-old wife and their five-year-old daughter dead inside.
It is unclear at this time how long the family had been dead before their bodies were discovered.

I agree with your comments for the most part.
Women these days though, are prone to do some of the things men were always chastised for. Only now when women do it, it’s not looked down on by women. It’s described as the actions of a liberated woman, as if the worst behaviors of men were the zenith of deportment.
When Chip-n-Dales was all the rage, mothers were going there with their daughters, stuffing dollar bills down the men’s thong (essentially).
Good old dad was home none the wiser.
And of course the media played it up as if women had finally arrived.
At least men were seen as low-lifes if they did that behind their wife’s back.

A restraining order is very useful, but only against non-violent men who the wife wants to gain an advantage against.
Against someone she might actually be in danger from, it’s worse than useless, as it might provoke him.
I agree. The pornification of the masses has destroyed many lives, both male and female. None of my earlier comments were a slur on men, but rather a view of the dynamics of God-created nature, as opposed to what we now have, with people thinking they know better.
Was she a feminist? Was she taking a man for husband to get a child? Did this woman dominate this African male and believe she could herd him and when she saw she could not direct him to her will she saught a divorce? Was this African male abusing the daughter? So many questions that will go unanswered now.

A woman's subjugation to fear of a partner doesn't happen overnight; it's a process, and now that being able to support oneself isn't the bargaining chip as it once was, usually the children are, as in this horribly unfortunate case.
Children were also the issue with three other stunningly evil daddy-murders that spring to mind: Scott Peterson, Christopher Watts, and Patrick Frasee—all had women on the side and didn't want to pay child support or hassle with joint custody, so they murdered their wives, and two of them also horrifically murdered their children.

I found out in life, it’s a lot easier to talk the talk than walk the walk.
Sometimes when things get tough for months at a time, the wrong comment by a spouse can seem like a green light. Fortunately one person should be left to make the right decision anyway. That’s where it can get very tough. After months of abuse, that fallback judgement may not be there when you need it.
Both men and women screw up. We are human. Even when we do, we should be willing to make amends, and to forgive the other person too.
I certainly didn’t start out in life, or my marriage intending to do some of the things I did later on. And in my second marriage, I just drew the line on the things I did wrong in the first marriage. Of course I found a few more ways to become creative, without intending to.
We do our best. Hopefully the other person is there to help pick up the pieces. Sometimes you wish they could forgive themselves as well as you, for sanity’s sake.
I like that God gave us this dynamic so we could discover ultimately how lost we are, without Him to cover for our sorry asses.
Well, this ugly reality certainly does not jive with the image of the mixed-race couple as being wealthy, happy, balanced, socially just, enlightened, and in love that the MSM and pop culture keep cramming down our throats.
This all started under Obama.
It has been my observation that in many mixed-race couples, those couples are not joined so much by a true love of one another but of a combination of white guilt on one side and hatred for whites on the other.

A father decapitated his wife and then slit his five-year-old daughter’s throat before hanging himself, police say.
Yonathan Tedla, 46, and Jennifer Schlecht, 42, were getting divorced when he allegedly cut her head off and left it in her lap, according to the authorities.
Tedla then partially beheaded Abaynesh Schlecht Tedla, five, before hanging himself in the bedroom, New York police claim.
Mrs Schlect’s dad told that his son-in-law threatened to ‘take them all out’ if she pressed ahead with the divorce.
Neighbours described the trio as the ‘perfect family’, according to Spectrum News NY1.
Police found a knife at the scene when they entered the family’s apartment on Wednesday night.
Officers found their bodies after Mrs Schlecht’s brother called 911 because he could not get through to his sister.
