And then when they opened it, they’d be turned to goo. Hey, let’s put Schiff on this detail!

Yeah the sea water mixed with some minerals in the soil and created an acid which dissolved everything.

So there it is ...

It was really just a reference to the show "Curse of Oak Island". :^) Not to say that, if a-holes could fly, this place wouldn't ben airport (at times)....

Actually, he never found it, or anything else -- the late Ron Wyatt was either delusional or a conman/liar.

Jury's still out on that. ;^) There's always been some, but they've also produced shows that are, uh, more spectulative, like the aliens show (entertains me, no matter how dopey they get).

They've done a lot of drilling, but it's all been a colossal bore. /rimshot

The show always seems to be wrapping up, but somehow the "Gilligan's Island" approach seems to have worked to keep it on the air -- they're never gettin' off that island.

If potential looters took him seriously, they'd have a backhoe out there the next new moon, trying to dig up the 33 tons of gold.
If the gold had ever been dug up -- and we know that the Israelites returning from Babylon didn't do it, because they didn't know where to dig without having the Copper Scroll, and it was cooling in that cave for a centuries, undisturbed (same goes for those who believe the scrolls were stashed prior to the Roman War, rather than the destruction of the First Temple).
My general view is, there is not and never has been any such thing as a treasure map. People who bury loot to hide it temporarily will put it either near their home (even in their back yard) or put it somewhere they can keep an eye on it, hence, they don't need a map. And they don't plan to leave it there for long periods of time. If those who hide treasure never went back for it, it's because they didn't survive, or because local conditions (like the barbarian invasions that led to the repopulation of former Roman provinces) made it impossible.

Was it in the hold of the Ark that has remains in an “unreachable” spot on Ararat? Wouldn’t that be a hoot - finding the Ark in the Ark....

Like if Jesus were found trekking around in a Crosstrek. He couldn't do that if he weren't risen, so it's all good.

True - He IS risen...
I sometimes can’t help a little swat at those who worry so much about things - I don’t need relics to believe that Christ is Lord and He paid the price for my sins...surviving objects and art work can be interesting but they take away from the whole point when the focus is on then instead of Jesus.

In the end everything connects to him which will provide some much needed little shock and awe.

Consider “what if” the Ark of the Covenant were found in a US Govt warehouse, somehow buried in the archives.

Everyone “knows” that the Ark is there, but then what if God took the idea and ran with it, because that’s how He rolls.

Then what would people say? No one is expecting the Ark to be there yet that’s exactly where everyone says it is. You know, ask any man on the street where’s the Ark of the Covenant. A: US government warehouse.

LOL. That would make a few believers in the living God.

Unexpected.

Didn’t a guy who claimed to be a time traveler appear on the Art Bell show in 1990’s an say that the Ark was found in Ethiopia?

That was a few years BEFORE all these stories about it being in Ethiopia

Golgotha (skull hill) is located behind a bus terminal. The Garden tomb is right around the corner from there. Jeremiah hid the ark and other objects just before Babylon destroyed Jerusalem and the temple, hiding it as it turns out directly under where Christ was to be crucified (and I believe also exactly where Abraham offered Isaac as a sacrifice). Christ was the final sacrifice and when his blood poured out of his side from the spear thrust it ran down the crack into the rock that was caused by the supernatural earthquake described in the bible, then dripped onto the mercy seat of the ark located 20 feet below. Ron Wyatt says he found dried blood samples and had them tested. Golgotha is NOT located under the Church of the Holy Sepulchre. No tomb there either. Evidence points to exactly what Ron Wyatt describes in his many taped discussions with documentation and then finally on his deathbed (confession).
I would encourage everyone to at the very least see what he has to say then decide for yourself. https://www.ronwyatt.com/

Well, it must be true then. ;^) The Ethiopian Ark of the Covenant is one of those old traditions in Ethiopia. I think it entered the fringe consciousness due to Graham Hancock, who (when he’s not on his high horse about some political BS) is pretty entertaining.
