James Corden has revealed his drunken encounter with Ivanka Trump at a wedding last month where he and Orlando Bloom pleaded for her to 'do something' about the state of the U.S. and 'make it better'.
'I was a little drunk and I was with Orlando Bloom who I think was equally, if not slightly less drunk than I was. And we were stood at the bar and Ivanka was also at the bar, and I can't, I can't 100 percent remember it,' Corden confessed to Arnold Schwarzenegger on Wednesday's episode of the Late, Late Show.
'I remember that we were quite drunk and we started going, ''Ivanka, you can do something, you can do something, you can do something, you can make a difference, you can make a difference, you can make it better.''
Ivanka simply replied: 'I'm trying. I'm trying', according to Corden.

Orlando Bloom was in a quirky & entertaining little movie - “Elizabethtown”...certainly worthy of watching on a cold sat afternoon.
He was an absolute bore...but the best parts were:
The “girl-next-door” cute Kirsten Dunst
The writer/director: Cameron Crowe
The GREAT soundtrack
The quite good original music written by Crowe’s then wife, Nancy Wilson (half of the “Heart” duo)
Craig Ferguson was incredibly funny and his guests seem to enjoy their time with him.
Of note, his interviews with Alice Eve and the incredibly hotttttt, Morena Baccarin - darn close to ROTFLOL funny.
He is in Amazon’s Carnival Row. I haven’t watched it yet.
Fixed to add a couple of words you left out.
I agree. I have often said that I don’t care for her or her husband. During the first couple of years of Trump’s presidency, just about every time there was a pic of the president, whether in the oval office, boarding a plane, in a meeting, etc., there was Ivanka, right there with him. It bugged me.
I’ve always liked him, but gained a whole new level of respect for him when he talked about his own sobriety:

“James Corden has revealed his drunken encounter with Ivanka Trump at a wedding last month where he and Orlando Bloom pleaded for her to ‘do something’ about the state of the U.S. and ‘make it better” All of our friends are having trouble living large now that the taxpayer gravy train has stopped.
Just another drunk moron.
You could have added a few more “reallys” and I would have still agreed with your post.
They have NO idea how the US government works.
I agree. President Trump does himself no favors when he listens to the completely unqualified Jarvanka over those who have decades of political experience.
That is where you need to stop and realize the whole thing is made up.
Women (i.e. women seeking to hook up) might get their own drink, but ladies usually ask the gentleman they are with to get them a drink, or ask the waiter.
Ivanka Trump does not nuzzle up to the bar alone and get her own drink.
So full employment, rising middle class wages, a booming economy and it is not better then the 8 sluggish years of Barack Obama? They must have really been drunk!
I agree completely! If I couldn't stay up late to watch Craig, I would watch the next day online. Miss him so much. He was too intelligent for whomever does programming out of NYC and Hollywood.
He did a long monologue about monkeys being exported into Scotland that wound its way around to an absolutely devastating imitation of a lewd Bill Clinton, that made me almost split a gut! I kept the link and watched it dozens of times over several years, but YouTube or the network finally stole it away.
I still laugh thinking of so much of his zany humor and great interviews, his dancing and his musicality, and the way he loved America as well as Scotland (which was largely developed by the Scots). The final episode reduces me to tears. I've shared his recovery testimony with friends struggling with alcohol. And read his two biographies, which are lovely and also very funny! I miss Craig so much.
