Dem voters. That’s the Goal. Parents allow this.

Given the emphasis in common core on social justce as opposed to actual skills and knowledge these students should be the best prepared for college as it is today.

A lot of retired teachers and frustrated parents are now saying: “See? I told you so!!”

“Dem voters. That’s the Goal. Parents allow this.”

The teachers unions are a big part of the problem. They have dumbed down the curriculum to make it easy and more “inclusive” for the Teachers.

And they have utterly dumbed down college so that you come out knowing less, and they still can’t hack it. When moronials see me fix something basic or work on my car, or use mathematics to solve a problem (even just simple algebra that should have been autonomic by 8th grade) they look at me like I am some kind of magical wizard existing on a distant plane

No big deal. If Pocahontas is elected it will all be free anyways.

“Readiness levels in English, reading, math, and science have all decreased since 2015, with English and math seeing the largest decline,”

But texting skills have skyrocketed.

And yet, Obama would maybe be elected AGAIN because, you know, he was going to save the country.....stop the rise of the oceans, etc. He just didn’t have enough time (to destroy the country really).

Leftists will never acknowledge a reality that doesn’t fit their constructed world. I know a teacher, he’s an old guy like me, FAR leftist. I’d say he is a communist. We were visiting a common friend, common core came up, he was glowing in his endorsement.

Not surprised that Asian students are still increasing their test scores, despite Common Core’s best efforts. Has anyone at the NEA actually seen a Common Core math book? It makes things like multiplying a 3 digit number by a 1 digit number WAY more complicated than it needs to be.

Easy fix. If the education mafia doesn’t like the results, just change the reporting standards.

Sometimes I think that the Commies had the right idea when they shoot those responsible for such debacles. Not one of these filthy criminal DoEduc educrats will suffer the slightest penalty.

I guess, as long as they feel “safe” and “woke”, none of the rest really matters, right?

You might as well say the first generation of students who got a smartphone at age 11 - that is probably more significant than the curriculum.
