Or just knowing how to do ARITHMETIC without a phone/calculator (I tutor math/science).
Loved the sobriquet "moronials"!
Cool tagline, too.

Anyone who has had to look over common core math homework will see that the instructional materials/teaching methods, the zipping through syllabus without sufficient time for knowledge to “bed in”, and lack of homework (and printing it with a tiny amount of space for the solution) are a recipe for disaster. Throw in screen addiction/lack of focus, and it is an even bigger disaster. This is particularly true for algebra.
Which a$$hole decided to make math problems multiple choice?
Grade inflation is rampant too.

The very best school districts turn out students who rate only average when compared to 50 years ago. As local districts relinquished control to state governments and now yo the Feds, literacy plummeted! So the future populace will not only be brainwashed but also functionally illiterate!
When the Academics said the Constitution was written by dead white men, Ben Franklin wasn't around to say, “A Republic, understand it or lose it.”
