Mr. Goodwin,
Im very concerned about what Justin has been telling me about what goes on in school by the teachers.
Ms. Givens for example keeps talking about negative things in regard to our President! She doesnt ever mention bad things about other prominent democrats just President Trump. Also Im willing to bet she never talked like this about President Obama. If she cant control her emotions should she really be teaching our children?
Also I heard in the assembly today that it was taught that there are more than 2 biological genders. This is obviously wrong as there are only 2 genders as defined in science. Please do not talk about non-scientific political items with my child while attending public school. Please let his teachers know that I would appreciate them focusing on the lesson plan and teaching him based on that lesson plan. The session today I thought was going to focus on teaching others to not bully, but instead it appears to have gone off course in some respects. Instead of learning English today (the class he needs the most attention in right now) he gets to be told nonsense about things such as there being more than 2 genders. Also there was a scenario where they were talking about building a wall to protect the US and it was used to be a racist thing.
Did you know this special lesson was going to get political? If so, why didnt you tell the parents that this was going to be a political session for our kids to be taught what to believe?
Also can I get a copy of the rest of the lesson plans for him, so I can help teach him as well. I want to make sure there arent other political indoctrination sessions built into the lesson plan. And if there isnt I will know the teachers are not supposed to be talking politics with the kids.
Justin is very uncomfortable with the things that are being said in some classrooms but hes also very afraid to say anything because he doesnt want to be targeted or cause problems with others. I would appreciate it if the teachers would show him the same respect he gives them by not talking their political or religious beliefs to him during school.
Good on you! I support you 100%
Well done and much more diplomatic that what I would have done. Best of luck to You. It might be a good idea to CC that letter to the Schrool Board and Stuperintendant as well.
Please keep Us posted on any replies or retaliation that happens.
Most all primary and middle school teachers are simpletons for whom a complex political issue is as opaque as if they had opened up the inside of their I Pad to see how it works. They regurgitate what they see on CNN, not what they read in scientific literature.
Big waste of time to do anything but take the kids out of the propaganda camps knows as public schools.

I’ve done it before myself. My hook though was being the chair of the school board. It gets their attention when you request a private meeting. That said, letters get filed immediately (if you get my drift).
Request a meeting with the principal, dean of students, and teacher. Have talking points written down. Do not engage past your talking points. Stand firm and if they push back mention politely you feel they are infringing on your Civil Rights. If these things fail to get traction escalate to the board level and include the superintendent. Do it in person, not email or letter. That shows how determined you are.
Another Reason to Homeschool
I’ve also had multiple successes using this approach.
When they realize you’re serious, they fold like a deck of cards.
Above all else, save your kid!
Yes, run! Hide in your home! Raise your kid in a bubble!
Surely this will all work out fine at the ballot box, when the unopposed indoctrinated masses vote.
Stand and fight!!
The last big mountain to climb, promoting school competition and choice. I HOPE this is a priority soon for Trump, perhaps starting on his re-election day.
I added a second post to the original poster.
Sounds like they’re doing what they can as parents. I spent nearly every Dinner Hour de-programming my kids from the lunatic ravings of their Teachers, starting about Junior High grades, too.
B.S. Makes you sound like a "Trump mouth-breather." If you can't own your mistakes, how do expect the school to do so?
There are several high quality online K-12 resources out there, some of them FREE and they make sure the kids are well qualified to pass every state required exam.
I'm glad my own two kids are long out of the school system ....
I will let you know her response.
If she doesn’t respond, my next follow up will be to see the lesson plans... At least those involving sensitive or political topics.
Whatever
Thank you for the advice.
You’re welcome
Thank you.
