I’m very concerned about what Justin has been telling me about what goes on in school by the teachers.
Ms. Givens for example keeps talking about negative things in regard to our President! She doesn’t ever mention bad things about other prominent democrats just President Trump. Also I’m willing to bet she never talked like this about President Obama. If she can’t control her emotions should she really be teaching our children?
Also I heard in the assembly today that it was taught that there are more than 2 biological genders. This is obviously wrong as there are only 2 genders as defined in science. Please do not talk about non-scientific political items with my child while attending public school. Please let his teacher’s know that I would appreciate them focusing on the lesson plan and teaching him based on that lesson plan. The session today I thought was going to focus on teaching others to not bully, but instead it appears to have gone off course in some respects. Instead of learning English today (the class he needs the most attention in right now) he gets to be told nonsense about things such as there being more than 2 genders. Also there was a scenario where they were talking about building a wall to protect the US and it was used to be a racist thing.
Did you know this special lesson was going to get political? If so, why didn’t you tell the parents that this was going to be a political session for our kids to be taught what to believe?
Also can I get a copy of the rest of the lesson plans for him, so I can help teach him as well. I want to make sure there aren’t other political indoctrination sessions built into the lesson plan. And if there isn’t I will know the teachers are not supposed to be talking politics with the kids.
Justin is very uncomfortable with the things that are being said in some classrooms but he’s also very afraid to say anything because he doesn’t want to be targeted or cause problems with others. I would appreciate it if the teachers would show him the same respect he gives them by not talking their political or religious beliefs to him during school.
But you surrendered by using the fake Ms for Givens. Is she or isn’t she married.
Rubber hose to a school superintendent with a promise to return might get better results.

So I suppose that the fence around the school and playground is a racist thing too. If not, “educator”, please explain the difference to the young minds full of mush.

I like Ms. what difference does it make whether a woman is married or not in how you call her? It doesn’t matter for men. It’s not a political thing.

The schools have always been indoctrination centers. I remember seeing films in the early 60’s in class about how environmentally conscious oil companies were, and seeing at the end of the film, it was from ENCO (EXXON).
After that, I started noticing most of the films we saw in classes were from Corporations, or the government, and were basically propaganda.
With horror, I realized that the films I’d seen in school in the 50’s which assured us that if we crouched under our desks, with our heads down, covered by our hands would assure our survival in tornadoes, nuclear blasts, and earthquakes might have been untrue.

That obviously goes straight in to the round file. The teachers think the kids are not yours while they’re at school. They think they have every right to indoctrinate them with amoral, anti Christian garbage. In fact, some feel like it’s their duty to turn them against you.
Please post the Principal’s response, if any. If no response, re-send the letter,cc ed to a media outlet. Thank you.

My town has early elections now.
One of the ballot initiatives is to amend the city charter to *require* city council agendas be published in advance (which would be good, since they never were before— you had to go to silly hall and look on the bulletin board) but only on Facebook, but publication prohibited or not required (unclear wording) in local newspaper.
So what we have here is voter suppression of FB refusniks.
Government schools should be abolished; the entire business of educating children belongs in the civil society, free from government meddling.
Our kid came home spouting some stuff about Trump. I asked him about it and he said they saw it on CNN. CNN is in the classroom?
Looking into it further.
I remedied the parochial school misinformation situation by knowing what was presented, having a good communication relationship with our child and giving logical (I’m a nuclear physicist, after all) opposing arguments to the drivel that was shoveled out in the classroom.
ALL children can recognize correct from incorrect. Parents have to be the counter-balance most of the time.
Madame you shouldn’t be asking them for a lesson plan. You should tell them you want to see it. Demand it. You pay their salaries, they work for you.
