An Iowa woman was killed by debris from an explosion at a gender reveal party on Saturday, police said.
The Marion County Sheriff's Office received a 911 call at around 4 p.m. on Saturday reporting that a woman, 56, had been seriously injured in an explosion in rural Knoxville, Iowa, according to a press release from the sheriff's office. The woman, whose name has not been released, was pronounced dead on the scene.
An investigation concluded that a gender reveal announcement created an explosion, from which a flying piece of debris struck the woman.

It was the latest rage back when we had our kids. 91 and 95. New ultra sound videos. We opted to have the reveal when they were born.
The first clip on that video always creeps me out. Wtf was the guy thinking? I wouldn’t shoot at that lawn mower at that range WITHOUT it being full of explosives.
I’ve had enough lead whistle back past my head thank you very much . . .
An even bigger question is: who will she vote for this year, seeing she’s dead

More of an, “I’m a self centered twit who wants to use my baby as an excuse to throw a party instead of just sending my family an email” party.
Intersectional karma for assuming the baby’s gender.
“Gender” is a grammatical concept. “Sex” is biological. Babies have biological “sex” not “gender.”
I remember G. Gordon Liddy objecting to this abuse of terms by the left. We are now paying for it.

I wondered what the heck they were, too, but to my relief, it’s just a get-together where the parents reveal the sex of the up coming birth. The ACTUAL sex, not a proposed sex. Do, just silly, not evil.
Seems to me that a sleeper assassin robot ( looking like a human ) was at the party and it’s detonation was caused by it’s keywords “it’s a boy ( or girl)” being said. Probably a case of bad luck for the victim. They should defiantly choose phrases that are more rare so they aren’t coincidentally uttered in public so these accidents don’t happen again. The robot was probably at the party just to blend in and appear more human.

According to local news, she was struck by a piece of plate metal that formed the base of the “thing”, whatever it was. The piece of metal flew 144 yards farther after striking her. Must have been quite the blast.
Dreadful. RIP.
