I miss the fingerprint reader, too!
But yes, the new iPhones are the most powerful, toughest and most water resistant available.
The swipes can be learned, but it’s not as easy or as flawlessly repeatable
as the good old home button was.

So much about iOS 13 is non-Jobs. The native apps like Safari and mail have secondary menus to get anything done. The “Steve effect” is gone as Millennials try to make it look nice even though every touch of elegance is gone. I sent Apple feedback that I’ve reached the point of looking forward to moving to a non-iOS phone.

If your hands are cold and/or dry, swiping sometimes doesn’t work. It’s annoying.
I use Apple computers, but I hate the iPhone. Never wanted it, and only bought it because my 3G was being interfered with by someone’s network booster in my neighborhood. Whoever this person or business was, their network booster icon was showing up on my phone screen. My calls to other people wouldn’t connect, and I couldn’t manually update my roaming capabilities on it. The only way I could get rid of the icon and do my roaming, was to drive 3-4 blocks from my house, then it would fall off the screen. Verizon told me the only way I could get rid of the problem was to move to a 4G phone, so I got the iPhone, and I went from 4 bars on the 3G, to 2 bars on the 4G. It was so bad that just about every call I had with my kids would drop. It only got worse as time went on. I finally called Verizon and bitched about it, and they sent me a $250 network booster for free. Now I have four bars, but I still hate the friggin’ phone. Hopefully this one will last until I die, because I’ll never shell out another penny for a new cell phone...ever.
I just got an Apple card too, but haven’t used it yet. I’m saving it for when I need to purchase a new laptop. My current MacBook Pro is from 2011.
Yes and they have all the records of what you purchased, where etc.
