Windows 10 is fine. I don’t see the problem. Just DO NOT install the update KB4517389, and make sure to HIDE it in your Windows Update

Not in the desktop/laptop arena, which is what this article is about.

I don’t see the word desktop in the headline or anywhere else in the article.

I dont see the word desktop in the headline or anywhere else in the article.
From the article:
In terms of desktop/laptop users, it's now comfortably over the halfway line, with 52.38 per cent of the market (+1.39).

Ah yes, there it is.
The headline is still a lie.

Good choice. When I got downgraded (against my will) to Win10, I had no choice but go to Linux. Every update, every day it got s-l-o-w-e-r and slower. I’m now on Linux and it’s as fast now as the day it was installed.

I have Windows 10 Pro running on my home computer. It does work fine, but people used to Windows 7 will take some readjustment to use Windows 10.

Oops. You left of a few much’s (muches?.)
With the way they shove Win10 down everyones throat, if it was a quality system it’d be close to max market coverage. I’d jump back to Win7 in a heartbeat. They force-updated my Win7 three times. I finally succumbed.

It isnt news to say that enough people have given up previous versions of Windows enough for the current version to be the most prevalent. They gave away enough free upgrades in the first 2 years and then made sure new hardware wouldnt run the old versions. It seems the only value in even publishing such an article is to get people insulting each other while debating whether the new one or the old one is better.
