In the last ten presidential election cycles the highest black vote share for a Republican was 12% for Bob Dole in 1996.
If Donald Trump captured 25 percent of the African American vote he would win the 2020 election in a landslide.

Trump is down 10 percent from his high in the Rasmussen poll. He now stands at 43 percent approval. I think the constant media barrage on this impeachment crap and the GOP whining about the Syria issue has hurt him.

Sample size is EVERYTHING....
If you have a sample size of 20 people and you get 42% approval, the margin of ERROR on that is HUGE...
The SMALLER the sample the larger the margin of error... I don’t recall the exact number of black males queried in this survey, but I do recall it was not REMOTELY large enough to not have a huge margin of error.
Please, people, keep this in mind.
Trump is doing great things, but don’t think for one minute he is going to get 40% of the black vote, male or female in 2020.
All the traffic and long lines at check outs everywhere are signs of economic activity. I tell people I blame Trump for when the cash registers go down at the gas station because if it wasn’t for all the people working and making money they wouldn’t be out there spending it on gas and coffee.
The other day at the gas station the credit card terminals were frozen and I started the I blame Trump joke and before I could finish a random person said not everything is his fault. I take that as a positive sign given the geographic location of the gas station, ie, California.

For the record the sample size was 210 total black males, and from teh document it looks like he got a WHOPPING 15% of that group, with 42% of that 15% being between the ages 35 and 49....
Someone really needs to learn how to read charts.. because this article is completely WRONG on every level...
they asked 210 black males who they were going to vote for, 178 selected ANY DEMOCRAT, and 32 selected Donald Trump... which means TRUMP got 15% of the black males surveyed.
The 42% was the percentage of those 32 that said they would vote for him that were between the ages of 35 and 49...
So, this article is written by someone who can’t read simple charts, and is making completely bogus claims.
With a sample size of 210 he got 15% of the male vote, which is going to have a margin of error to put Trumps support among black males pretty much in line with every other republican.
