Dennis Quaid is getting married again.
The 65-year-old actor confirmed to "Extra" that he proposed to his girlfriend, 26-year-old Laura Savoie, at Turtle Bay, Oahu, in Hawaii.
“I had the ring in my pocket. It has been kind of a month-and-a-half plan — I wanted it to be private,” Quaid said. “She was actually taking a selfie of us, and I put the ring in front and said, ‘Will you marry me?’ And then she fell down."
"It was kind of spontaneous. It was very much a surprise," he said.
People reported that the two have been dating for several months now. Quaid was spotted with Savoie, a Ph.D. student at the University of Texas, as early as May, according to the publication.
This will be the fourth marriage for Quaid, who was previously married to real estate broker Kimberly Buffington. The two married in 2004 and are parents to 11-year-old twins, Thomas and Zoe. They separated in 2016. Their divorce waBuffingtons finalized in 2018.

Dennis is a flaming liberal. Absolutely nothing like Randy.
Just watched him in the 3rd season of Goliath on Amazon Prime. He looks 55 and appears to be in great shape. If he’s anything like his brother Randy politically, he’s one of us.

He is in great shape and certainly lacks his brother’s disfunction and money problems. He keeps his political beliefs close to the vest...which is wise in today’s climate.
Maybe he has a 27 year old daughter who needs a playmate.

He does in fact, have a 27 year old son with actress Meg Ryan.
He told the jeweler he was looking for a special ring for his girlfriend.
The jeweler looked through his stock and brought out a $5,000 ring.
The old man said, "No, I'd like to see something more special."
At that statement, the jeweler went to his special stock and brought another ring over. "Here's a stunning ring at only $40,000, the jeweler said. The young lady's eyes sparkled and her whole body trembled with excitement.
The old man seeing this said, "We'll take it."

His royalties must be something . . every day on cable one or two of his movies are showing.
Regardless of the social life a number of his roles are certainly in line with conservative values . . The Rookie, Everybody’s All American, Breaking Away, The Right Stuff.
Didn’t realize until I checked that his first wife was P.J. Soles, Bill Murray’s love interest in Stripes. He actually had a token role in that one.
“Hey if I was divorced, had the money he has, why not? Could be the most enjoyable year or two of his life...”
