The video was so grainy I couldn’t tell for sure.
This thread makes me feel young. I don’t remember “Shindig,” but do remember “Soul Train,” “American Bandstand,” “Dance Fever,” and “Solid Gold.”

We had Shindig, and Where The Action Is, as well as the others. Hated Soul Train, because it meant cartoons were over.
Lurch (Ted Cassidy) doing....The Lurch was funny.
Shindig and Hullabaloo! Remember them well, especially the Hullabaloo go-go dancers.
And before that it was Hootenanny.

He made an entire career of "Monster Mash" and then he died about 12 years ago. Everybody who made music in my youth appears to be dying.
