Feel free to add your ghost story to this thread. Comments welcome and appreciated.
Would NOT be an FR Halloween without it! Thank you, and Happy Halloween to you and yours!
The California Office Building that now occupies that site is the California Secretary of States building. . . and I am pretty sure the Secretary of States office would most likely occupy the space right over where the bedroom was located. Might explain some of the decisions that come out of that office. LOL!

Sorry, this is all wrong. You’re supposed to post an excerpt and then a link to your blog.
My introduction to ghosts, and the paranormal came in 1966. I had graduated from high school the year before, and was working as a clerk for Monroe County Department of Child Welfare (Rochester, NY). There was a little shop across the street from my building that served lunch, and also sold candy, magazines, paperbacks. Their books were on a revolving stand, and I came across a book titled "Ghosts I've Met" by Hans Holzer. I bought it, and became an instant fan of Dr. Holzer. Just recently a new TV series called "The Holzer Files" began on The Travel Channel. His daughter appears from time to time. The cases they conduct are based on his previous investigations, so for me, it's a revisit to some of the stories I'd read about all those years ago.
I've never seen a ghost, but I know people who have. There have been places where I've lived, and worked where I've felt uncomfortable, but that's about the only "feelings" I've ever had. The Halloween season is one of my favorites, because every year there's a whole batch of new paranormal-related TV programs to watch.
BTT
I’ve got none (well, nothing long and detailed anyway), so here’s one, with the link below (there are nine others there).
(btw, does anyone remember the topic where a FReeper who lived at the end of a long road, somewhere in the arid SW US, came home and found that the camera on his porch had recorded someone standing on it?)
Photographic Memories, from AnnieBannanas
I grew up in New Mexico and was always very into the outdoors, hiking, camping, rock climbing, etc. One summer when I was 19 I went on a 4 day/3 night camping trip near my parents’ house on my own. Might sound weird but I had been to this area many times and it was quite safe. Anyway I brought my camera and took lots of pictures. When I came back and developed my film, there were 3 extra pictures that I didn’t take... of me... sleeping. One each night.
None of my stuff was missing or stolen and nothing happened, but it freaked the hell out of me.
