what a dumb ass...just knock on the damn door and indent yourself..geez. Enjoy your next 25 years.. Partner should be fired too.
Wow.
You’re right.
How long did it take for that Somali cop who shot that woman asking for help?
He could have been planning on shooting her for 20 years or he could have been thinking of shooting her for 1/20th of a second.
It makes no difference.
NOT A WORD.
But he knew for a fact that he was far more valuable than she.
Who plays video games with an 8yr old at 2:30 in the morning? What the hell was wrong with her?
Why would anyone want to go into law enforcement in the US anymore, when they charge you with murder for a mistake? A horrible mistake, but still a mistake, not murder.
We just went through this with the Guyger trial. Texas does not require premeditation or motive to convict for murder. Just intent. He intended to kill her when he pulled the trigger. In the vast majority of police shootings, the officer can demonstrate that the killing was justified. Not going to be easy in this case.
Well, that WAS a mistake, he was aiming for the baby.
It was Murder.
Unfortunately, cops are tasked as social workers for welfare check calls at 2AM.
Hell, dog crap is a cut above those two charlatan frauds.

“Former HPD officer charged with murder in botched raid at Harding Street house”
________
Both victims were white.
lol
Atatiana Jefferson, 28, died in a bedroom, according to the Tarrant County Medical Examiner’s Office.
Officers responded at 2:25 a.m. to the house in the 1200 block of East Allen Avenue. James Smith, who called a non-emergency police number, said he saw the doors were open and the lights were on, which struck him as unusual. He knew Jefferson, his neighbor, was home with her 8-year-old nephew.
Police parked around the corner, and the woman could not see them, according to Smith, 62. About 15 minutes later, he said, he heard a loud bang and saw several more officers rush inside.
This is really tragic but not murder. Definitely manslaughter and incredible stupidity. Shame on the media trying to make this into a racial thing.

They were all his choices.
He chose his line of work.
He chose to pull the trigger.
He chose not to follow protocol when approaching the house.
From now on, he will have very few choices to make.
The prosecutor will make his decisions.
The jury will make his decisions.
The prison staff will make his decisions.
Dirty cop, more to the story
This is really tragic but not murder
Thats not the way the State of Texas views the situation.
