"Shut up, I don't want to hear what you have to say." That sums up today's Democratic Party in a nutshell.There's nothing quite like a 2 way discussion where 1 person just needs to shut up......that's how you solve disagreements.
This mental illness is spreading like a virus across this nation. I don't think it's merely the dumbing down of the population.
I have noticed that her type, which we are seeing more and more of in government, academia, culture, and the media, all talk and act the same way. They all have the same concepts, use the same words, throw the same kind of tantrums. I have acquaintances who are “progressives” and they are the same way and, while they have always been liberals, they have not been kooky leftists until recently. One of them, who is actually a very nice lady and fun to be with as long as politics don’t come up, took her leap when Obama hit the scene. Her son-in-law worked for Organizing for America, so maybe he’s responsible. It’s like there has been some kind of massive brainwashing and it reminds me of behavior typical of members of cults.
No. It is a liberal bully in a position of power AND social power telling another POLITICIAN he’s not allowed to speak because of his demographics.
This is one politician telling another he’s not ALLOWED to speak. You know she’s going to persecute any general white guy who comes into her office for redress.

I saw that. I have been saying that Donald Trump is the only man in Washington, D.C. and New York City. I don’t say that he is the only male because there are oodles of them. They have the Beta males, the shemales, and the Metro Sexual males. And the women of these two places are married to them. Then along comes President Trump and his wife. And she has her hands full keeping these predatory females from getting their claws into her husband. Because of all the other things a woman wants. She wants a man the most.
No, she would not have talked to me the way she did these guys and got away with it. Cucks they are. Their wives may be married to them, but they damn sure don’t respect them.

I think it has something to do with their perception of lack of respect. They have not gotten what they think is their fair share. Of course, your not divvied out respect, you earn it.
...And if you don’t get it, they perceive that you have not recognized that they deserve it. So it becomes their mission to drill that error into your worthless hide...Ahem...

That may be true for some people, but this one is a doctor and white, which is generally regarded as pretty high up the food chain. I guess she believes that the white man is so evil that he won’t even extend his privilege to his mother, wife, and daughters. Maybe she knows that is not true and she feels guilty about it, and she is also guilty about her perceived responsibility for all of the other suffering among those not so privileged. “Progressivism” is a religion for these people, and a very self-righteous religion at that, and they are out to save the world.

There’s really no place for foul language in a public meeting.
As a professional wordsmith, I can think of any number of forceful responses to Buchanan’s abusive remarks that would have gotten the job done without resorting to profanity.
As I stated in my earlier posts, I covered hundreds of public meetings over my many years as a newspaperman. I never witnessed anything this deranged.
However, I definitely knew some mayors and council members who would have put Buchanan in her place in short order.
In particular, one mayor — oddly enough an old-fashioned Democrat — had a marvelous ability to keep things calm by simply raising his pencil and calling for order in a measured but firm tone.
Who would have thought an ordinary number-two pencil could become a symbol of authority?
I even did a lighthearted column on this: “When Mayor xxxx points his pencil at you, you’d best pay attention.” He took it in good spirits.
All these Libs yammer on about diversity and inclusion, but the grim reality is “Shut up”!

We’re in a war with these people. There’s no being polite to people who want you dead, silenced, erased, humiliated, and otherwise vanished.
I grew up on the streets of North Philly. There’s only one way to deal with folks like her.

One parting thought, based on some of the crustier elected officials I covered. Here’s how they might have responded to Buchanan’s rant:
“If Trustee Buchanan has finished foaming at the mouth, perhaps we can proceed with the meeting.”
As I said, there are a lot of ways to respond to abuse without getting down in the dirt with the abuser.
I absolutely agree with you that these Leftists are not just misguided but evil. And I will even go so far as to suggest that at some point, patriots may have to deal out vigilante justice.
