I have mixed feelings on this one. My first was that I have zero sympathy for her, as she presided over these hateful sentiments while it propelled her to success (i.e PC trailblazer). I do appreciate a liberal coming out with that view, when I believe it’s sincere. Maybe I’ve become a conspiracy theorist, but part of me thinks it was planned, almost as outreach to say, “you can still be considered a good Republican by Hollywood types if you embrace the George W Bush way and reject Trump”. (same as the deplorable argument). Can she just go ahead and tell us what all the rules are? What is “in bounds”, and can she guarantee it won’t change?
