What would something large, and moving fast do if it hit the earth-—say in a glacier? Do you think that might cause a little disruption in the local temps?

If a large comet hit the middle of Canada 12,800 years ago it would have vaporized glaciers miles deep—and molten remnants of the earth below it would have been discharged into the atmosphere—causing fires all over the North American Continent.

This would have caused rapid melting and run off down to the gulf of Mexico and Baja California. If you have ever flown over the desert US you know “something” washed through there not that long ago (geologically.)

People who think all changes are from “slow erosion” are not thinking BIG enough.

David Wilcock and Brien Forrester both talk about evidence of possible solar/cosmic events based on findings in South America and other locations around the world.

They tell us the earth was covered in a “mile thick” layer of ice.

Unless the ice cap was already nearly melted, the size of a rock or other body required to produce any significant melting or breakup would have to be huge..............

ABSOLUTELY! Something washed over it in a big way. While you find minimal erosion that happened after, it was indeed completely flooded over and washed away in one huge event. The current hypothesis is that when the Yucatan Impact happened it splashed a massive amount of ocean over North America. This is also feasible and possible to explain the flooding we see. But it may have happened more than once, they also think an asteroid event happened in the pacific ocean and did the same.

12,800 years ago.

The evidence I dug up suggest that it actually occurred 11,847 years ago......so who ya gonna believe.

Lol, yep. But I never throw the baby out with the bathwater. I never let one theory discredit another even from the same source, it would be foolish put yourself in a box of ignorance by doing so. While one might be taken with a grain of salt, another one from the same source may very well be viable. No matter the source, always consider the possibilities of EVERYTHING before throwing it away. This type of firewall is greatly harming discovery. In this we are discussing solar or cosmic events, and he has shared some great examples and evidence of this possibility even if you might not agree with everything he puts forth. Open ur mind... : )

i’m not discounting the concept of ET’s and the bible. But the bible is already under the worst attack against it since it was first printed. lets not give them more ammunition.

Zebras are extinct?

The Grévy's Zebra (Equus grevyi) is endangered.

The common zebra (Equus quagga) is all over the place and quite tasty.

****

They should have let us ride. There’d be a whole lot more of them if they’d let us form them up into some colorful cavalry divisions back in the day.

“But the bible is already under the worst attack against it since it was first printed. lets not give them more ammunition.”

Them who?

I only mentioned just his name in relation to the topic of solar events. Hopefully this was not understood as discrediting the Bible in any way form or fashion. It was just a name without any support or mention of his other branch theories at all.

How did you read into it and misconstrue anything other? The name alone was the seed? If so it was you who watered it and caused it to grow into an ugly tree with many ugly branches threatening the veracity of the Bible.

See what I am getting at here? If we had been discussing faith or the bible then your point of view here would make absolute sense and fit the discussion. I am just simply trying to stay on topic without any predetermined prejudices that might distract from it. Especially if it is just because I simply dropped a name. :)

We should absolutely at some point explore your concerns with the side topic though if you like. I have much support for the Biblical record as a historian. :)
