Check these guys out-

I used to give money to Wikipedia. If what you say is true, no more gravy for their potatoes.
Are you sure it isn't political for those editors? You might have been blacklisted.
You’re smarter than they are. They know it...and can’t handle it. So they exercise the only power they have.
Sounds like Wikipedia is full-up with unhelpful gatekeepers.
Going the way of Snopes.

I cant believe that website has the audacity to beg for money.
It is an indispensable resource.
Thank you for the efforts you have made to keep it accurate and updated.
After reading your Comments about Wiki’s editors, my first thought is that your name/account has been black balled - probably because at some point in time you made a politically Conservative correction to a Wiki article.
That would be a mortal sin at Wiki.
My advice - make up a new name/account and see if they let those edits pass through.
During the Bush years I cited early Founders comments in support of the Senate approving nominations- and was rejtcted and roundly abused on Wiki.
During the Obama years my very same cite was resurrrected with approval LOL!
I admire your patience.
“power-hungry editor thugs...” I totally admire your patience. Jimmy Wales has issues and the best two things about Wikipedia is 1) the code, and 2) the potential. Like television, Wiki is all potential and no solid information. Friends don’t let friends use Wikipedia. Just read one book a week or two a month and then the internet is just for fun.
I don’t go there for anything vaguely political. But if you want to know when fax machines were invented, or what’s in a sloe gin fizz, they’re ok.

The Gatekeepers of Knowledge are offended. Go figure.
As for me, I am grateful for the fortitude and rectitude wherewith you approached the task. You should consider work as an investigative journalist . . . if you are ready to die.
What you did was wonderful and they should have been thankful to you for your updates and contributions.
The people running the site must be crazy.
While it is supposed to be useful, I almost never go there, and from what you say, no great loss.

Sorry to hear, it has the potential to be really great, but not under the present approach. I use it like any other source, as input that my own good brain assimilates.
I added a new album recently using nothing but public information: the album name; the track titles; the name of the bands members; the runtime. Some power trip user put it in suspension and demanded sources. No thanks. On one of the bands other albums, there is only one attribution, and it is along the lines of, The band announced the album would be released on November 4, 2013. with a link to an article about the announcement. I guarantee the useless statement was added just to appease such a power-tripper. I wont do it.
How about devoting your skills to conservapedia?
