Banging an 18 year old does not equate with “things must be really bad”. I don’t necessarily advocate it, but if one is afforded the opportunity, any correlation to whoever your wife is at the time is purely incidental.

I enjoyed it for about 5 seasons then it got kind of old.

Why would you open a thread that mentions a show you have no interest in? :)

Confession: Guilty Pleasure. I like this show for the same reason I liked Celebrity Apprentice. Over-the-Hill celebs will do anything to regenerate their careers. Exception is someone like Kelli Pickler who used DWTS to learn how to dance.

Nah, if you are happy in your marriage to such a gorgeous super-model, why would you look elsewhere? Why would you not resist such temptation by a bimbette? It strikes me odd he would look for greener pastures.

Nice back door way to get her daughter a job.

(I think it’s weird that people watch these shows - but it’s a free country. Obviously people enjoy it).

Looks like the prick tripped her with his foot extended.

Shouldn’t that be “Uptown Girl”? I think that was the Billy Joel song about her. (One of them, at least. I think the other was “Big Shot”).

Saw the video. She tripped, put her hand down to catch herself, shattered the lower part of her arm at the wrist. Wasn’t pretty. People can make snarky comments but she was definitely injured severely.

It’s her fourth marriage. How serious is any of it?

You’re thinking like a normal person, which I understand.

What about American Idiot? The pool of talent is boundless.

Indeed, it was Uptown Girl. But she's also a downtown girl if you catch the drift!😎

For many women after menopause, osteoporosis is a real issue. My older sister has a problem with it, and she has to do a lot of weight-bearing exercises just to try to keep sufficient bone mass.

I guess it was the way you phrased the premise. Things were so bad that he was banging an 18 year old... Now if you had said things were so bad that he was banging Rosie O’Donnell..,

I got a "Colle's Fracture" like that bracing for a fall after falling off a fence watching my son play football. That is the most common fracture for snow-boarders. Having that fracture set was excruciating even with pain killers. My wrist to this day has some restricted mobility and is slightly crooked.

This is amazing: "The 21-year-old model reportedly had only hours to learn her mother’s entire dance routine." I can't imagine trying to step into Mom's shoes with only HOURS to learn the routine. You've got to hand it to Sailor for doing that - takes a lot of courage.

Sailor Brinkley-Cook will replace her mother on the show.

Of course she will. Christie has for years been pushing to get her very ordinary looking daughter to be famous as a model and there's been little traction.

It's kind of pathetic.

IIRC, she was not a good dancer in the video for Uptown Girl. Would have been interesting to see what 40 hours a week of coaching would have done.

I’ve been watching reruns of the original Burke’s Law.

One of the best part of Burke’s Law were the cameos. It was sort of the LOVE BOAT of it’s time.

Few under the age of 50 (60)) would know who they were but us BABY BOOMERS know. Complete episodes can be found on You Tube.

“So, when one gorgeous wife (Paulina Porzikovia) of an ugly rock star (Ric Ocasek), gets wounded (as Paulina was by losing Ric), other gorgeous wives (like Christie Brinkley), of equally ugly rock stars (like Billy Joel), ALSO get wounded and feel some of the pain?”

Yes, that is known as the Quantum MILF Theory.
