Has anyone seen the new commercial for the HIV drug Truvada? The commercial states they are doing it for prep. However it later goes on to say it helps lower the risk of contracting HIV in high risk people. So basically it is a drug for people who cannot control their sex drive and have dozens of sex partners per year.
What I found humorous were the handy little man buns on the effemi-mens heads. It just screams submissive pole smoker.
Yeah. We give “post exposure prophylaxis” to people exposed to HIV, (needle sticks, rapes, etc) Now they are using the drug for “pre exposure prophylaxis) for gays. Before you know it the drug will loose it’s effectiveness.
The people who made that commercial did a wonderful job of gathering together a cast of horrible looking swishing queers, butch lesbos, and prancing fags. Disgusting.
I was paying attention to race/genders during TV ads for college football yesterday. Many ads featured rappers, then the usual mixed race couples, stupid white males, etc. The only “normal” all white actor ad was a deodorant commercial from mega corp Unilever. Their market research must show suburban white males don’t want to smell like cocoa butter and jerry curl. Ha ha.
Never ever, EVER trust Big Pharma. Ever.
Unless you want to make a buck off of the suffering of others. :(
Yep. Saw one tonight where two gay, black men found their ‘perfect home’ by using Zillow.
*BARF*
All of them. What they don’t tell people is the long term side effects of taking ‘Prep’, nor the short term effects like nausea.
That's the very first time I've ever seen this commercial. That disgusting crap is actually airing all over various U.S. TV networks??
Yeah, It’s been airing for months here in the NE. The black guy in drag with blonde hair having lunch with his boyfriends mom is disgusting.
Saw a promo for a movie where 3 moms, 2 white one black, ignored by their sons decide to visit their sons who all live in New York City on Mothers Day. Movie was called Otherhood.
As I said to my wife, Gee! I wonder which ones son will be a homosexual.
Surprisingly there was only one from the promo.
Not having TV definitely has its benefits.
Not having TV definitely has its benefits.
But I thought condoms were supposed to prevent this.
“I cannot imagine any circumstance in which I would think taking this drug is a good idea. “
no kidding. it’s nothing more than a combination of two existing HIV antiviral drugs patented as a prophylactic, and taking it would be akin to taking penicillin all the time to avoid possible gonorrhea from unprotected sex.
the potential side-effects of Truvada are mind-boggling ... seems to be that taking basic safe-sex precautions would be saner than taking this drug and hoping for the best ...
also, i can’t believe that the FDA didn’t consider the likelihood that taking this drug as a prophylactic is likely to spawn some sort of resistant HIV ... the FDA would certainly object to taking an antibiotic on a daily basis as a precaution against gonorrhea or any other bacterial infection for that matter ...

The comments on the video are very good.
have dozens of sex partners per year......Who doesn’t?
“Next to the Truvanda outlet? Perfect!”
They finally realized their trying to hide the increased risk of the ‘lifestyle” was killing a lot of them so now they try to make them all look like clean cut professional classy/cultured folks.
Notice the ad says “By practicing safe sex....” which means the drug won’t do a lot for many of them...maybe just a way to let drug companies soak them for a while as the drug ain’t as effective as they try to make it sound.
If you took all the drug ads off TV most half hour series would be 3 - 4 minutes long.
