Fox sports analyst and former Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback Terry Bradshaw announced his disdain for players like Antonio Brown during an interview with the Pittsburgh Tribune-Review following the wide receiver's tumultuous offseason. Brown may have broken most of the Steelers' wide-receiver records during his nearly decade-long run with the team, but Bradshaw says he would never have thrown to him.
"I'm not pulling for him, I can promise you that," Bradshaw said of Brown via CBS Sports. "I cannot emphasize how I cannot stand and have a disdain totally for players like that. I don't want any part of them. I wouldn't like them. They would hate me if they were on our team. They would hate me because I wouldn't throw to him"
"I will not put up with that kind of behavior. You don't win with it. Why haven't [the Steelers] won more Super Bowls? There is talent, [but] it's just guys like him. Let him go and his brand and whatever it is he's doing," he added.

After the four-time All-Pro called out the Raiders for fining him for missing practice and a walkthrough on his Instagram story, Brown and Raiders general manager Mike Mayock reportedly got into a heated argument that had Brown screaming. Brown then threatened to punch Mayock in the face before punting a football and telling the GM to "fine him" for that, NFL Media's Ian Rapoport reported Thursday.
Sounds like the guy is a real piece of work. Another entitled brother.
That was an early report. He and the GM have denied that.
Thanks, didn’t know he threatened to punch out the GM.
No team should put up with a jerk like that.
Thanks, I guess I read the early report.
At first I thought that was a picture of Ron Howard. They could pass as brothers.
YW. Glad the raiders cut him but wth were the Patriots thinking by signing him...
I agree. And I like the Patriots.
AB (not me!) is a scumbag, IMHO.
Antonio Brown wants to threaten a coach. I’d like to send him back 30 years and let him threaten Ditka.
Even Mini-Ditka woulda handed him his butt.
Da Bears!
Actually there was as much if not more bad behavior back then. But there wasn’t as much coverage. Some of then might have hit local news, or might not have even hit there. Back then a player caught driving drunk wasn’t much different than any other person, there just wasn’t the appetite for every small thing that happened. We live in an age where “news” media is a voracious beast, nothing that happens doesn’t get coverage, and all news is national. Every minor incident with every minor celebrity hits all the wires. The Raiders of the 70s (famous inside the NFL for being the last chance of league discipline cases) couldn’t exist, all those players would be serving suspensions for violation the personal conduct policy, which didn’t exist yet.
Uh oh, Terry is going to be suspended for racism.
Bad behavior, yes, off the field, I partied with many Steelers, and they did everything that young, local heros with a few bucks, could get away with doing.
On the field, it was strictly a team sport.
Remember, there were no free agents back then.
Once you got drafted by a team, they owned you, and you could play for that team or get a real yob.
The NFL players didn't get free agency until 1989 and Bradshaw played in the 70s and early 80s.
Terry was a good back-up to Phil Robertson, (Duck Dynasty), at La. Tech.
Belichik takes him on the team. I don’t think he would have a chance being on Tom Landry’s team.
Those were the days...I’ll always remember Terry’s comment on sushi, “where I come from, they call that bait”.
Pats need to trade Antonio Brown for a good all purpose running back
I did not watch but they did ok last week!
Maybe the Steelers aren’t what they were.
If you think they need one to “complete” the team, then I will be horrified to see how good they are after that.
Another Brady superbowl
SMH
Gee, I’m starting to like these beefcake wars. :)
Terry IS a National Treasure! If I had had a boy of my own, I’d have named him, ‘Terry.’ I love that name for a boy! :)
I HAD three sons, but they were adopted and already had their names when I got them at ages 3, 4 & 5. ;)
