Fox Biz saying Gantz declares victory and refuses Netanyahu’s calls for unity.

A couple of thoughts on this ... Likud lost the election so they are not really in a position to call for anything, especially rotating the Prime Minister position with Netanyahu (Likud) serving for the first two years. Blue and White said "no" to this.

(Back in April Likud did not offer to rotate the Prime Minister position with B&W ... and they actually tied in the Knesset with 35 seats each.)

Blue and White, the projected winner with 33 seats in the Knesset to Likud's 31, ran on forming a unity government. B&W has said during the campaign and again today that they are open to including Likud in the unity government ... but without Netanyahu as the party's leader since he is facing indictment in a few weeks.

Things are usually a little more complicated in Israeli politics than sometimes presented. :)
