I used to hang out in a bar in Seattle that was popular with the Seattle Supersonics back in the late 80’s, early 90’s.

The players were so obnoxious and uncouth, the women would generally stay away from them like they were sick with cooties, which they probably were. The arrogance, self entitlement, the aura of expectations were hysterical, like from a comedy...

I've always wondered why the NFL produces, by far, the most thugs of any major sport. Some point to the fact that it is a violent contact sport.

But the NHL is nearly par on the violence and contact and doesn't produce the level of thuggery.

Others point to the presence of one certain ethnicity in large numbers.

But the NBA has even more representation by said ethnicity and doesn't even come close to the same level of thuggery.

Last in thuggery is, of course, Major League Baseball where even rare fights are less violent than your average women's basketball game.

“He wanted to sign with a good team quickly before this became public knowledge, otherwise, the Pat’s would have told him “sorry, we don’t need this crap following us.” Now they are stuck with paying him what he got guaranteed, even tho he kept this from them.”

And it should be noted that the Pats ran to the phone and called Browns agent the minute they heard there was trouble in Oakland, and had him signed within a half an hour of his release. Brown did move quickly and the Pats quickly and anxiously accommodated him.

The big story will be how the Pats didn’t know about this...

So, these alleged events occurred while Brown was with the Steelers, and he was with the Raiders for several months after, and only the Pats are referenced.

She was crazy for thinking that she was the best personal trainer in the country—and that was why she was hired.

He was crazy for thinking that when she told him that were “just friends” he wouldn’t get sued if he had sex with her.

They really need to teach kids in school how to read the other sex’s words and actions—these kinds of misunderstandings can lead to _both_ rape _and_ lawsuits (or criminal charges).

I didn’t say it was required to be exercised, merely that it is available, if needed to terminate a contract.
No way they’re dumping Belichick, he’s worth protecting.

Rape is a CRIMINAL offense.

If a woman is raped she must file a CRIMINAL complaint with the police.

Filing a CIVIL complaint without the CRIMINAL shows that she’s only interested in the money and not in the potential for other women to be raped.

The whole thing sounds like it was unprofessional on her part. You have to assume something bad could happen because it always seems to happen with NFL players when you are alone with them.

I think Bill had a deal before he even thought of leaving Oakland.

She was raped on 3 different occasions?

Check your facts. Her lawsuit only outlines one incident of rape. The first incident was unwanted kiss, second was ejaculating on her back. Those are not rape.

They will play him until/unless he ends up in jail.

Take that to the bank.

He is not facing criminal charges. No jurisdiction has even taken a complaint from the woman. She filed a civil suit only. She is just a gold digger looking to pay for her upcoming wedding.
